2 (18 ounce) bottles barbeque sauce
1 (15 ounce) can pineapple chunks
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
8 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, mix together barbecue sauce, pineapple with juice, green bell pepper, onion, and garlic.
  • Arrange 4 of the chicken breasts in the bottom of a slow cooker. Pour half of the barbecue sauce over the chicken. Place remaining chicken in slow cooker, and pour remaining sauce over the top.
  • Cover, and cook on Low for 8 to 9 hours.

8 chicken thighs (You can use a whole chicken or other parts. We love thighs the best. And we want them on the bone with the skin)
1 package dry french onion soup mix
1 8 oz bottle Russian dressing ((I prefer Wishbone Russian dressing))
1 small jar of apricot preserves ( or about a cupful)

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients, except chicken, in a bowl.
  • Place chicken pieces in a baking pan. Sprinkle with pepper. No extra salt is needed.
  • Pour sauce over chicken and make sure it's coated well.
  • Roast uncovered at 400 degrees for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes until chicken is done. Baste several times during cooking. This is the way the chicken will look when done.

1 roasting chicken, cut-up
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 1/4 ounces dry onion soup mix
1/2 cup Russian salad dressing
1 cup apricot-pineapple preserves
hot cooked rice

Steps:

  • In a 12x8x2 inch dish, arrange chicken pieces with the thickest, meaty pieces to the outside edges of the dish.
  • In a small bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, soup mix, dressing and preserves.
  • Spread this mixture over the chicken, coating each piece well.
  • Cover with wax paper.
  • Microwave on High for 18-22 minutes. (If your microwave doesn't have a turntable, turn chicken 1/4 turn halfway through cooking time.).
  • Let stand 5-10 minutes before you serve it so the chicken absorbs the flavor of the sauce.
  • Serve over rice.

Dash pepper
1-1/2 cups ketchup
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon liquid smoke, optional
Optional: Sliced jalapeno peppers, finely chopped red onion and sesame seeds

Steps:

  • Using a sharp knife, cut through the 2 wing joints; discard wingtips. Sprinkle chicken with a dash of salt and pepper. Broil 4-6 in. from the heat until golden brown, 6-8 minutes on each side. ½ cup barbeque sauce (such as Sweet Baby Ray's®)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Cover a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray the foil with cooking spray.

1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/8 cup white wine vinegar

garlic powder

Steps:

  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
  • Combine the mustard, soy sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, and honey in a baking dish; season with garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and black pepper to your liking.
  • Add the chicken and toss to coat; turn skin side up and place in oven; bake 40 minutes, flipping chicken halfway through.

1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle cola-flavored carbonated beverage (such as Coca-Cola®)

3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons teriyaki marinade (such as Kikkoman®)

Steps:

  • Place chicken in a slow cooker and pour cola-flavored beverage around it. Turn slow cooker to High and cook for 3 hours.
