- Halve avocados, brush with fresh lime juice, sprinkle with sea salt if desired. Brown meat with the onion in a skillet over medium heat. Once cooked through, drain well. Add homemade taco seasoning (I add a sprinkle at a time, and taste test until it's right) and 1 tablespoon hot water. Simmer for 1-2 minutes until flavors combine. Scoop hot meat into avocados. Add toppings to choice, i.e. cheese, salsa/pico, cilantro, fried egg.

- Drain the grease and add the seasonings and the tomato sauce. Stir to combine. Cook for about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove the pit from the halved avocados. Load the crater left from the pit with the taco meat. Top with cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, cilantro and sour cream.
- If you want to make a larger area in the avocado for the toppings, spoon out some of the avocado and set aside to make guacamole! Then fill with toppings.
