Nothing makes the Moscow mule a classic American darling than bourbon. Great bourbons are born in Kentucky and bred from the finest American corn. This Moscow mule recipe uses good Kentucky bourbon that compliments ginger beer with vanilla notes for an extra-boozy kick.

1.5 oz. Kentucky bourbon
.5 oz. Lime juice
Mint sprigs for garnish

A Mule Cocktail made with tequila and jalapeno- aka Mexican Mule. Tequila, Ginger Beer, Lime, and a little jalapeno make this a refreshing Tequila Cocktail with just a kiss of heat.

2 ounces Silver Tequila- brand of choice
3 ounces Ginger Beer (recommend Q Mixer )
Fresh Lime (Cut into wedges)
Fresh Jalapeno (Cut into 1 inch chunks- seeds and ribs removed for less heat)
Ice

Steps:

In a copper mug muddle 2 lime wedges until they are completely juiced. Add 1 inch jalapeno chunk to the mug, remove the seeds and ribs/pith for less heat, muddle lightly to just bruise the skin. NOTE: if you like more heat, leave in the seeds and ribs/pith, and give it a really good muddle.
Add ice to the mug, about 3/4 full.
Add 2 ounces of tequila.
Float in about 3 ounces of ginger beer.
Give the cocktail a stir and taste. Add more tequila or ginger beer as desired.

2 oz tequila (blanco or reposado)
1 oz lime juice, freshly squeezed
4 oz ginger beer
fresh lime, for garnish
fresh jalapeno, for garnish
filtered water, to make lime and jalapeno ice cubes, optional

Steps:

Thinly slice the lime and jalapenos, place bits in an ice cube tray, fill with filtered water and freeze until ready to use.
Fill a copper mule mug about half way with ice cubes. Add the tequila and the lime juice. Top with ginger beer. Stir, garnish with a lime wedge or jalapeno slice (optional) and serve.

1.5 oz tequila (reposado, silver or añejo)
1/2 oz Cointreau, Grand Marnier or other orange liqueur
1/2 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
1/2 oz agave syrup
4 oz ginger beer
Lime wedge & mint for garnish

Steps:

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Pour in tequila, Cointreau, lime juice and agave. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds, then pour into a copper mug or cocktail glass filled with crushed ice.
Top off with ginger beer. Garnish with a fresh lime wedge and a sprig of mint (optional).
