The Polar Express Hot Chocolate Chex Mix Recipes

THE POLAR EXPRESS™ HOT CHOCOLATE CHEX™ MIX

Steps:

• Line 2 large rimmed baking pans with waxed paper. In large bowl, mix cereals. In small bowl, mix powdered sugar and cocoa mix.
• In small microwavable bowl, microwave semisweet chocolate chips uncovered on High 45 seconds; stir. Continue microwaving in 15-second increments, stirring after each, until chips are melted and smooth. Pour onto cereal in bowl; mix thoroughly to coat. Transfer mixture to 2-gallon resealable food-storage plastic bag; add powdered sugar mix to bag. Seal bag; shake to coat. Spread in one of the pans to cool completely, about 30 minutes.
• In small microwavable bowl, microwave white vanilla baking chips uncovered on High 30 seconds; stir. Continue microwaving in 15-second increments, stirring after each, just until chips are starting to melt and can be stirred smooth. Stir in marshmallows; coat completely. Spread in remaining pan, spreading mini marshmallows into small clusters; let stand about 30 minutes or until coating is set.
• In large serving bowl, mix cereal, marshmallow clusters and chocolate nonpareils. Store at room temperature in covered container.

MEXICAN HOT CHOCOLATE CHEX® PARTY MIX

Steps:

• In large microwaveable bowl, measure cereal. Set aside
• In 2-cup microwavable measuring cup, heat butter and chocolate chips on High 1 minute or until almost melted; stir and microwave another 30 seconds or until mixture can be stirred smooth; stir in condensed milk, heat 30 seconds or until boiling; stir in cinnamon. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated.
• Microwave on High about 3 minutes, stirring every minute, until mixture is glazed. Stir in coconut and marshmallows. Pour onto waxed-paper lined pan to cool.

'THE POLAR EXPRESS' CREAMY HOT CHOCOLATE

Steps:

• Combine milk, chocolate chips, condensed milk, heavy cream, and vanilla extract in a slow cooker set to Low. Cook, stirring occasionally, until heated through, about 2 hours. Let cool until safe to drink, about 5 minutes.

POLAR EXPRESS HOT CHOCOLATE

Steps:

• Combine milk, sweetened condensed milk, cream, chocolate chips, vanilla extract, and salt together in a large pot over low heat; cook, stirring constantly, until chocolate is melted, 30 to 40 minutes.

HOT COCOA DIP

Steps:

• Microwave 2 cups marshmallows in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 min. or until marshmallows are completely melted when stirred.
• Add cream cheese; beat with mixer until blended.
• Add dry pudding mix; mix well. Gradually add milk, mixing well after each addition. Whisk in COOL WHIP.
• Refrigerate 1 hr.
• Spoon dip into serving bowl; top with remaining marshmallows.

POLAR EXPRESS HOT CHOCOLATE

Steps:

• 1.In a pot add sweetened condensed milk and low-fat milk. Whisk.
• 2. Stir in Semi sweet milk chocolate chips.
• 3. Stir constantly over low heat until it barely reaches to boiling point about 15-20min.
• 4. Serve and top with whipped cream! You can add vanilla extract to the batch if you need more flavor but ours was rich enough with out it.
