Steps:

  • Calienta la parrilla a fuego medio.
  • Licúa bien los primeros 6 ingredientes. Aparta la mitad de la mezcla de mayonesa; barniza ambos lados de los filetes de pescado con la mezcla de mayonesa restante.

4 Tilapia Fillets
Bbq seasoning
salt and fresh ground black pepper
2 tsp olive oil
Bonefish Grill Chimichurri Sauce
8 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. plus Kosher Salt
1 tsp. oregano, dry leaves
1 tsp. black pepper, ground
1 tsp. red pepper flakes
Finely grated lemon zest from 3 lemons
4 oz. fresh lemon juice
1 bunch flat leaf (Italian) parsley
1 cup olive oil

Steps:

  • Pan Fried TilapiaSprinkle each fish fillet on both sides with bbq seasoning, salt and fresh ground pepper.Add 2 tsp olive oil into preheated pan over medium high heat. Place tilapia into pan and cook for about 3-4 minutes. Carefully flip fish over and continue to cook for another 3-4 minutes or until fish looks cooked through (will be white and flaky in middle).Drizzle about 2 tablespoons of Chimichurri Sauce over each piece of fish. Serve with steamed veggies and enjoy!Chimichurri SauceCombine all ingredients in a food processor and pulse chop until all ingredients are approximately 1/8 inch in size. Add Italian parsley and pulse chop until parsley is 1/8 inch in size. Add the olive oil and blend in quickly. (Do not over blend)Allow the sauce to marinate for 30 minutes before serving.

6 cloves garlic
1 shallot, minced
4 tablespoons red wine vinegar
4 anchovy fillets
salt and ground black pepper to taste
1 cup olive oil, or more as needed

Steps:

  • Wash parsley and remove the larger stems.
  • Combine parsley, garlic cloves, shallot, red wine vinegar, anchovy fillets, salt, and pepper in a blender. With blender on high speed, slowly pour in 1/2 cup of olive oil. Scrape down to sides as necessary and add slowly add remaining olive oil, with the processor running, until a thick paste forms.

1 cup tightly packed chopped parsley leaves
1 cup tightly packed chopped cilantro leaves
¼ cup red wine vinegar
½ onion, coarsely chopped
5 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon coarse salt
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon hot pepper flakes
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
½ cup extra-virgin olive oil

Steps:

  • Combine parsley, cilantro, red wine vinegar, onion, garlic, salt, oregano, hot pepper flakes, and pepper in the bowl of a food processor; pulse a few times. Pour olive oil in slowly, while pulsing a few more times, until chimichurri is chopped, but not mushy.
  • Refrigerate until flavors have blended, about 2 hours.

This delicious mayo sauce makes for an incredible tilapia dinner! This is from the Comida y Familia mini-cookbook from Kraft Foods, but I have added some directions in for things that I changed.

1/3 cup low-fat mayonnaise
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/3 cup diced onion
1 cup fresh parsley
2 tablespoons fresh oregano
2 garlic cloves
8 tilapia fillets (2 lbs) or 8 any other mild white fish (2 lbs)
2 tablespoons Kraft® Grated Parmesan Cheese

Steps:

  • Put heavy-duty aluminum foil on grill and spray with non-stick cooking spray. Heat grill to medium heat.
  • Blend first 6 ingredients in blender until well blended. Reserve half the mayo mixture; brush both sides of fish with remaining mayo mixture.
  • Grill 3 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily with fork. (I found it took more like 6-10 minutes, but I moved the fish up one shelf, about 5 or 6 inches from the flame.).
  • Top with cheese. Serve with reserved mayo mixture.
