MOM'S CLASSIC MEATLOAF RECIPE
It's an oldie, but a goodie-- Meatloaf! There's not a whole lot better than a tender and moist meatloaf and this is the PERFECT recipe in my book.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
- Combine the milk and crushed saltine crackers in a small bowl. Allow to soak for about 5 minutes or until the crackers are soft. Whisk in the egg, salt, sage, dill, and pepper.
- Place ground beef in a large bowl and add in onion and milk mixture. Gently mix until just combined.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil and shape meat into a loaf shape. Dip fingers in water and smooth out the cracks with your if needed.
- Place in oven and bake for about 20 minutes.
- Combine ketchup, sugar and Worcestershire sauce and spoon half of it over the partially cooked loaf. Return to the oven.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes longer and spoon the remainder of the sauce over meatloaf. Continue to cook until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees-- about 10-15 additional for a total of 35-45 minutes total cooking time.

- Preheat oven to 350.
- Mix ground beef, onion, salt, pepper and garlic powder in a bowl.
- Mix in bread, milk, egg, 1 tbsp mustard, and 1/4 cup ketchup.
- Press mixture into a loaf and put in baking dish.
- In a small bowl, stir together 1 tbsp mustard, 1/4 cup ketchup and 2 tbsp brown sugar. Pour on top of the meat loaf within the last 20-30 minutes of cooking.
- Bake for about an hour until it's cooked through.

TRADITIONAL MEATLOAF RECIPE WITH BROWN SUGAR AND KETCHUP GLAZE
A Traditional Meatloaf Recipe, this comfort food is just like mama used to make it. Moist and flavorful, you this is the only meatloaf recipe you will need. The brown sugar and ketchup glaze is not to be missed!

- Combine ketchup, brown sugar and cider vinegar in a small bowl.
- Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil. Set aside.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the oil, and once shimmering, add the onion and cook until tender. Add the garlic and cook an additional minute, then remove from the heat to cool slightly.
- In a medium bowl, combine the eggs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, pepper, thyme and hot pepper sauce. Mix until combined.
- In a large bowl, combine the meat, crackers, parsley, and cooked onion and garlic mixture. Add the egg mixture and mix just until combined.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking sheet. Form into a loaf about 9×5-inches.
- Brush half of the glaze over the meatloaf.
- Bake for 30 minutes, then spread the remaining glaze over the top and sides of the meatloaf.
- Return to the oven and bake until the meatloaf registers 160ºF on an instant read thermometer, about another 20-30 minutes.
- If desired, you can turn on the broiler for the last couple minutes to really thicken up the glaze.
- Cool for 10-15 minutes before slicing to serve.

MEATLOAF WITH BROWN SUGAR KETCHUP GLAZE

Steps:
- Glaze: Mix all ingredients and set aside.
- Meat loaf:.
- Heat oven to 350°F.
- Heat oil in medium skillet and sauté onion and garlic about 5 minutes. Set aside to cool.
- Mix eggs with thyme, salt, pepper, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, pepper sauce and milk.
- Add egg mixture to meat in large bowl, along with crackers, parsley and cooked onion and garlic.
- Mix until mixture does not stick to the bowl, if mixture sticks to bowl add milk by tablespoons until it does not stick.
- Shape into loaf.
- Place on foil lined pan, for easy clean-up.
- Brush with half the glaze.
- Arrange bacon slices crosswise over the top of loaf overlapping, tucking in bacon ends under loaf.
- Bake until bacon is crisp and internal temperature registers 160°F, about 1 hour.
- Cool at least 20 minutes.
- Simmer remaining glaze over medium heat until slightly thickened.
- Slice meatloaf and serve with extra glaze.

- In a large bowl, combine the eggs, milk, cheese, saltines, carrots, onion, salt, garlic powder and pepper. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into a loaf. Place in a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 50 minutes. , For glaze, in a small saucepan, bring the brown sugar, ketchup and mustard to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 3-5 minutes or until heated through. Spoon over meat loaf. , Bake 10-15 minutes longer or until meat is no longer pink and a thermometer reads 160°. Drain; let stand for 10 minutes before slicing. If desired, top with minced fresh parsley.
