Ingredients

1 wedge roasted orange
1 ounce sweet red vermouth
1 1/4 ounces Campari
1 1/4 ounces Lini Lambrusco Bianco, or other sparkling white wine
Orange peel for garnish

Steps:

Place the orange in a mixing glass and add vermouth. Muddle the two so that the charred bits are released into the vermouth.
Add Campari and ice, and stir.
Strain into a chilled rocks glass that is filled with ice and top with sparkling wine. Do not stir as this will dissipate the bubbles. Garnish with orange peel.

This refreshing pick-me-up, made with rye, sherry, and crisp cold-brewed black tea, is slightly nutty, slightly malty, tart and thirst-quenching.

2½ tsp. (4g) black tea leaves, or 1 black tea bag
1½ oz. Angel's Envy Rum Finished Rye
½ oz. oloroso sherry
2 oz. cold-brewed black tea
½ oz. lemon juice
¼ oz. simple syrup (see note)
Garnish: 2 thin lemon wheels

Steps:

To make the cold-brewed black tea, combine tea with 1 cup cold water in a resealable jar. Refrigerate 8 hours. Strain out tea leaves and store cold-brewed tea in the fridge. Extra cold-brewed tea is great all day, with a squeeze of lemon or without.
To make the cocktail, combine rye, sherry, cold-brewed black tea, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a Collins glass. Fill with ice and stir gently. Garnish with lemon wheels.

A very sweet cookie with a Latin American flavor of rum and milk caramel. The special texture of these cookies will certainly please your taste bus. The milk caramel jam is a Hispanic sweet that we call dulce de leche.

3 cups all-purpose flour
¼ cup confectioners' sugar
1 cup butter
¾ cup milk caramel jam (dulce de leche)
2 egg yolks
3 tablespoons rum

Steps:

Sift flour and confectioners' sugar together in a large bowl.
Mix butter and milk caramel jam together in a separate bowl using a fork. Beat until smooth with an electric mixer. Beat in egg yolks and rum. Mix in sifted mixture gradually until well blended. Refrigerate dough, about 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease 2 baking sheets.
Roll out dough to 1/4-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface. Cut into shapes using cookie cutters. Arrange cookies on the prepared baking sheets.
Bake in the preheated oven until firm to the touch, about 15 minutes. Cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
