White Chocolate Chex Mix is the perfect combination of sweet and salty! Package up this addicting Christmas snack mix and give as gifts!

5 cups Cheerios
5 cups Corn Chex
2 cups cocktail peanuts
1 bag (10 oz) bite-sized pretzels
1 bag (11 oz) holiday M&M's
24 oz white chocolate candy coating wafers
3 tablespoons shortening or vegetable oil

Steps:

  • Lay out sheets of parchment paper on 3 large cookies sheets or directly on a flat surface.
  • In a large bowl, combine the Cheerios, Chex, peanuts, pretzels and M&M's.
  • Over a double boiler, melt the chocolate and oil, stirring occasionally, until completely smooth. OR, in a microwave safe bowl, melt chocolate and oil on low heat, stirring every 30 seconds until melted.
  • Pour melted chocolate over Chex mix and stir to coat. Spread mix onto prepared parchment to dry. Break Chex mix into smaller pieces after completely cooled.

3 cups Cheerios toasted oat cereal
3 cups Rice Chex
1 (8 ounce) can salted peanuts
1 (12 ounce) bag M&M's plain chocolate candy
1 (8 ounce) bag pretzels
2 (12 ounce) bags white chocolate chips
3 tablespoons vegetable oil

Steps:

  • In a large bowl mix together all ingediants, except white chocolate chips and oil.
  • In a glass bowl mix together white chocolate chips and oil.
  • Microwave white chocolate and oil for 1 minute, stir. Microwave for an additional 30 seconds.
  • Stir white chocolate luntil completely melted.
  • Pour melted white chocolate over chex mix.
  • Mix very well, until all chex mix ix coated.
  • Spread coated chex mix in a single lay on wax paper or tin foil.
  • Let harden.
  • Break up and store in an air tight container.
  • ENJOY!

3 cups crispy rice cereal squares
3 cups crispy corn cereal squares
3 cups toasted oat cereal
2 cups thin pretzel sticks
2 cups peanuts
1 (12 ounce) package mini candy-coated chocolate pieces

Steps:

  • In the top of a double boiler over simmering water, slowly melt the white chocolate. In a large bowl, combine cereals, pretzels, peanuts and candy coated chocolates. Slowly pour the chocolate over the cereal mixture and stir to evenly coat.
  • Spread the mixture onto wax paper and cool. Break into small pieces, store in an air-tight container and refrigerate to keep fresh.

Everyone loves Chex mix and this delicious White Chocolate Chex Party Mix is always a hit at family parties or as gifts for friends in your favorite holiday tin. It is super easy and makes a lot.

1 (10 oz) package pretzels
5 cups Cheerios (you can use plain or my favorite is the Multi-Grain Peanut Butter)
5 cups Corn Chex
2 cups peanuts (or mixed nuts)
2 (12 oz) packages plain M & M's
2 (12 oz) packages white chocolate chips
3 Tablespoons vegetable oil

Steps:

  • In a VERY large bowl (or two medium bowls), combine the first 5 ingredients. Set aside.
  • In a microwave safe bowl, heat white chips and oil on high for 60 seconds (you could also melt chocolate and oil in a double boiler pan). Stir and microwave for another 30 seconds and stir until completely melted and smooth (you may need to microwave for a couple more seconds). Pour melted chocolate over cereal mix and stir until all the cereal is evenly covered with white chocolate. Spread cereal mix on 2 large baking sheets (I used cookie sheets) lined with wax paper. Let cool and then break apart into chunks.
  • Store in an air tight container.
