We absolutely love this 7 up cake recipe. Each bite is so moist and delicious. Plus, that glaze is heavenly! This cake is a must try!

Ingredients for the Cake Mix:
1 box Yellow Cake Mix
1 4 oz box of instant lemon pudding
3/4 cup 7 Up
3/4 cup Vegetable Oil
4 eggs
Glaze Ingredients:
2 cup powder sugar
1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 Tbsp milk

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 325 F.
  • Spray a bundt pan with non-sticking cooking spray and gently coat with the pan with flour so the cake can be removed easily.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cake mix ingredients thoroughly with a hand held mixer.
  • Pour the batter into the bundt pan.
  • Bake for 45-55 minutes until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool for 2-3 minutes and then remove it gently from the pan onto a wire rack to cool. Cool completely.
  • In a separate small mixing bowl, combine the glaze ingredients. You can add more milk to make the glaze the consistency that you desire.
  • Pour the glaze over the cake and enjoy!

1 1/2 cups butter, softened
5 eggs, room temperature
3 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup 7-Up
1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
1/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • To make the cake, preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Generously grease a tube pan with oil or butter.
  • In a large bowl, beat the butter at medium speed until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. Add the sugar and beat for another 5 minutes. Add the eggs, 1 by 1, beating well after every addition.
  • Sift in the flour, 1 cup at a time, beating well after each addition, until mixture is smooth. Pour in the lemon extract and 7-up ad stir with a spatula until well-combined.
  • Pour the batter into the greased pan. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Remove it from the pan and cool on a wire rack completely.
  • While the cake is baking, make the glaze. Beat the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract with an electric mixer until smooth. Pour the glaze over the cake. Let the cake cool completely before slicing.

Steps:

  • Empty lemon supreme cake mix and instant pineapple pudding into a large mixing bowl.
  • Add oil and eggs.
  • Beat about 2 minutes.
  • Add 7-Up and mix until well blended.
  • Pour into a greased and floured cake sheet pan.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Bake 35 to minutes or until done.
  • While still hot spread with Icing.
  • ICING:.
  • Cook margarine, sugar, pineapple, flour and eggs until thick.

Steps:

  • Grease a 9 x 13 pan, and preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Combine cake mix, pudding mix, slightly beaten eggs, and vegetable oil in a mixing bowl. Beat on medium speed until batter is light and fluffy. Add 7-UP ™ , and beat in well. Pour batter into prepared pan.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or till done. While cake is baking, prepare the topping; it will take about 15 minutes to prepare.
  • In a medium non-aluminum saucepan, combine sugar and flour. Stir in 2 eggs, butter or margarine, and pineapple. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Remove from heat, and stir in coconut. Spread topping over warm cake.

1 ½ cups butter, softened
5 eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
2 tablespoons lemon extract
1 cup lemon-lime carbonated beverage (such as 7Up®)
1 cup sifted confectioners' sugar
¼ cup milk
½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Generously grease a fluted tube pan (such as Bundt®).
  • Beat white sugar and butter together in a bowl using an electric mixer until creamy and smooth; add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir flour, 1 cup at a time, blending well after each addition until batter is smooth; stir in lemon extract. Mix lemon-lime beverage into batter and pour into the prepared pan.

1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup soda pop (7-Up)
1/4 cup soda pop (7-Up)
1/2 cup sugar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 300°F Spray 10" tibe pan with non-stick cooking spray. Lightly coat with flour.
  • Combine margarine, shortening, sugar, vanilla and almond extract with electric mixer. Beat 5 minutes until light and fluffy.
  • Gradually add eggs & egg whites, beating well after each addition.
  • In separate bowl, combine flour and salt. Add to margarine/sugar mixture alternately with 1 cup 7 UP, beating well after each addition.
  • Spoon batter into pan. Bake 1 hr 45 minute.
  • Cool in pan on rack 10 minutes, then remove from pan.
  • Make glaze: Stir together 1/4 c 7 UP & 1/2 c sugar in saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil 1 to 2 minutes until sugar is dissolved.
  • Use toothpick to poke holes in top of warm cake. Spoon glaze over cake & allow to cool.
