Air Fryer Honey Garlic Chicken Wings are made with the perfect blend of seasonings that packs this recipe with tons of flavor, without a lot of spice!

15 chicken wings (cut into wings and drummies)
1/2 cup olive oil
4 tsp minced garlic
1 tbsp granulated sugar
1 tbsp sriracha sauce
1 tbsp margarine
4 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup water
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds

Steps:

  • Preheat the Air Fryer to 360 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Cut the chicken wings into dummies and small wings, and place into a plastic storage bag. Add olive oil and seal the bag, tossing until the wings are all fully covered.
  • Place the wings in a single layer in the prepared air fryer basket and cook for 18 minutes. Toss the wings every six minutes. After 18 minutes, increase the temperature of the air fryer to 390 degrees Fahrenheit for an additional 2 minute cook time, for a total cook time of 20 minutes.
  • While the wings are cooking, add the remaining ingredients to a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Turn down the heat and allow the sauce to simmer for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove the sauce from the heat and cover to keep warm.
  • When the wings are cooked, add them to a medium sized mixing bowl and cover in the wing sauce, tossing to cover completely.
  • Add the wings to a serving tray and cover with the toasted sesame seeds just before serving.

1 1/2 teaspoons smoked paprika
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 lbs chicken wings, split into flats and drummettes
1 stick (1/2 cup) Challenge Unsalted Butter, melted
1/3 cup hot sauce
1/2 cup honey
3/4 teaspoon kosher salt, plus more to taste

Steps:

  • 1. In a large bowl whisk together olive oil, paprika, onion powder, salt and pepper. Add wings and toss to coat fully. (You can also do this in a ziplock bag.) 2. Heat air fryer to 400°F. Arrange wings in an even layer of air fryer basket. Cook for 12 minutes. 3. While wings are cooking, make hot honey butter sauce. In a medium sized bowl, whisk together Challenge Butter, hot sauce, honey and salt. Taste and add more salt if desired. 4. Once wings have cooked for 12 minutes, open air fryer and generously brush on the hot honey sauce sauce on both sides of the chicken wings. Then cook for 4 more minutes, or until wings are cooked through. 5. Serve immediately with any extra sauce on the side for dipping!

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (add more if you can stand it)
salt and ground black pepper to taste
1 cup honey
½ cup butter, melted
½ cup hot sauce

Steps:

  • Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat and lightly oil grate.
  • Wash the wings well and pat dry with paper towel. Season the meat with cayenne, salt, and pepper.
  • Cook the chicken wings on preheated grill until cooked through and juices run clear, 20 to 30 minutes depending on the size of the wings. Brush the wings liberally using 1/2 cup of honey while they are cooking.
  • Melt the butter, pour into a large bowl and mix in the remaining 1/2 cup of honey and hot sauce. Remove the wings from the grill and immediately toss them in the hot honey butter sauce to coat. Serve the wings 'wet' or return them to the grill for 1 minute per side to set the sauce.

2 lbs chicken wings, both 1 st and 2 nd sections
1 cup low sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 lemon, juiced
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup honey
salt and pepper, to taste
sesame seeds, for garnish

Steps:

  • Rinse and dry chicken.
  • Place wings in shallow dish and pour over the soy sauce, ginger, cilantro, garlic, and lemon juice.
  • Toss well to coat; marinate, refrigerate for 2 hours.
  • Remove wings from marinade and pat dry.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • In a large saute pan over medium to medium-high heat, melt the butter in olive oil.
  • When the butter stops foaming, add honey and chicken wings and fry until browned on each side, about 5 minutes.
  • Continue cooking wings, turning them over often to coat them as the glaze reduces.
  • Cook until the wings are sticky and cooked through.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and serve.
  • DO NOT OVER COOK-- the glaze will burn and taste nasty!
