YODA SODA

Steps:

• Cut popsicles into chunks. For the size glasses I used, I cut each popsicle into 4 pieces. Add to glass.
• Pour lemon lime soda over popsicle chunk and then top with whipped cream.
• If you prefer an adult version, use a 50:50 ratio of lemon lime soda with silver tequila.
• Serve with light saber straws.

YODA SODAS FOR STAR WARS FANS

Steps:

• Pour 8 oz. soda into a blender.
• Add 3 cups sherbet. Turn on mix and blend until thick.
• Add more sherbet or soda depending on how thick you want it.
• Pour into cups and enjoy!

Steps:

• In a punch bowl, combine Hawaiian Punch and soda. Top with scoops of ice cream. If desired, garnish each serving glass with fresh blueberries and lime wedges.

• Juice limes to obtain 1/4 cup lime juice (or use 1/4 prepared juice!).
• Combine lime juice and sugar--stir to dissolve sugar.
• Add sparkling water and stir till mixed.
• Taste and add more sugar if desired.
• Place sherbet in a tall glass and pour lime mixture over top.

Steps:

• place 1 lime on the cutting board & cut in half. squeeze the juice from each half into a measuring cup. repeat with the remaing limes uhntil you have 1/4 cup juice.
• put the lime juice & 3 tablespoons sugar in a small pitcher. stir with a wooden spoon until the sugar dissolves. add the sparkling water & stir until mixed. taste & add more sugar,if disired.
• using an ice-cream scoop,scoop up the sherbet or sorbet and drop it into a tall glass. pour in the lime water. serve immediately.

• Variation: You can substitute rainbow sherbet or lemon sorbet for the lime sherbet.

CREAMY TOMATO GARLIC BUTTER SHRIMP

Steps:

• Cook pasta al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside. (While pasta is boiling, prepare shrimp sauce.)
• Heat the butter in a large skillet or pan over medium heat. Add the onion and fry until transparent. Stir in the garlic and fry until fragrant (about 30 seconds), then add in the shrimp with the basil and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Sauté shrimp for 2 minutes on one side; flip and continue to sauté on the other side for a further minute.
• Quickly add in the sauce, crushed bullion (or stock powder), parsley, pepper sugar and remaining salt. Allow the sauce to heat through for another minute before adding the milk (or cream). Continue cooking for a further minute or until the shrimp are cooked through.
• Once the pasta is cooked and drained, stir it through the creamy tomato sauce; toss until combined. Season with extra salt if desired.
