1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup
1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
¾ cup milk
½ cup sour cream
½ cup mayonnaise
1 (7 ounce) can tuna, drained
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
1 tablespoon lemon juice
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 pound cooked pasta
1 ½ cups bread crumbs, or to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Combine cream of celery soup, Cheddar cheese, milk, sour cream, mayonnaise, tuna, parsley, lemon juice, salt, and ground black pepper in a 9x5-inch loaf pan; stir until sauce is well mixed.
  • Toss the pasta into the sauce until thoroughly coated. Spread the bread crumbs over the top of the pasta mixture.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until bread crumbs are golden brown and sauce is bubbly, about 45 minutes.

1-1/2 cups milk
2 cans (6 oz. each) tuna, drained, flaked
1 cup frozen green peas, thawed
2 cups instant white rice, uncooked
1/4 lb. (4 oz.) VELVEETA®, cut up

Steps:

  • Mix soup and milk in medium saucepan. Bring to boil on medium heat, stirring frequently.
  • Add tuna and peas; mix well. Return to boil.
  • Stir in rice and VELVEETA; cover. Reduce heat to low; cook 5 minutes. Stir until VELVEETA is completely melted.

This is a great Tuna Casserole recipe. My best friend who lives in California requests I make it for her every time we get together. I originally got the recipe off of a bag of Homestyle Country Pasta - Egg Pasta from Costco. You can use any cream soup, but I prefer Cream of Mushroom.

1 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
7 ounces tuna
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
2 tablespoons parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon lemon juice
3 cups cooked pasta
1/4 cup dry breadcrumbs
3/4 cup cheddar cheese, grated (for topping)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Cook pasta as directed on package.
  • Combine all ingredients and pour into 1 1/2 quart shallow baking dish.
  • Top with cracker or bread crumbs.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
  • Top with extra grated cheese and bake an additional 15 minutes.

1 can peas (frozen can be used also)
3 Tbsp sour cream

  • Cook the Mac & Cheese according to the directions.
  • Add the tuna, peas & sour cream. Mix well. Add salt & pepper to taste.
  • Serve & Enjoy!

I got this recipe out of a newspaper when I first married, over 20 years ago. It's been one of our favorite meals and really is quick, easy and good tasting.

1 lb round steak
2 tablespoons butter
2/3 cup water
1 lb fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons flour

Steps:

  • Trim fat from meat and slice into thin strips.
  • Heat butter in skillet and brown meat.
  • Add water and mushrooms.
  • Stir in soup mix and heat to boiling.
  • Blend sour cream and flour and add to hot mixture.
  • Stir until mixture thickens a little.
  • Serve over hot buttered noodles.
  • The original recipe called for a 3 oz.
  • can of mushrooms with it's liquid but I substitute fresh mushrooms as I like them much better.
  • If need be, add a tablespoon or 2 of water if the sauce is too thick.
