HAM SALAD
Enjoy this old-fashioned ham salad made with everyday ingredients. Simple classic ingredients will help you make the best ham salad ever.

Steps:
- Place ham slices into a pot add 1 tablespoon of brown sugar. Add enough water to just cover the ham. Simmer for about 20 minutes.
- Remove ham from water, and allow to cool.
- In a food processor process the ham mixture by adding ham slices, red onion, gherkin pickles, pickle juice, mayonnaise to the food processor. Pulse several times. Taste, and season with salt and pepper. Place in a large bowl.
- Be sure to refrigerate until you are ready to serve.

Steps:
- Chop the ham as finely as desired.
- Place boiled egg in a medium sized bowl and mash with a fork.
- Add the chopped ham.
- Add chopped celery.
- Add mayonnaise.
- Add pickle relish.
- Add yellow mustard.
- Add sugar.
- Add black pepper.
- Use a wooden spoon and mix together well.
- Add more mayo or pickle juice for a creamier ham salad.
- Taste and season with salt if needed.
- Refrigerate for an hour or two before serving.
- Enjoy!

- Place the first 5 ingredients in a food processor and then process until chopped. DO NOT PULVERIZE Once Ham, Onion, Bell Pepper, Green Olives, and Celery are chopped; remove from processor and place into a medium sided bowl. Blend in Mayonnaise and one small spoonful of Miracle Whip Salad Dressing. Add pinch of Sugar. Enjoy. This is also a great recipe to follow for making tuna, chicken, turkey or egg salad sandwiches. My father loved this recipe when I used plain chunk bologna to make a quick and tasty sandwich spread for lunch.

- Whisk the mayonnaise and mustard together in a large bowl. Pulse the ham and pickles in a food processor until finely chopped but not pureed. Add the ham mixture, pickle juice, celery, onions and celery leaves to the mayonnaise mixture, and stir. Taste; if the salad seems dry (it should be spreadable), add more mayonnaise and/or pickling liquid. Serve as is or on sandwiches.
