Simple and addicting air-fried sweet potato fries. I bet you can't eat just one.

1 sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/2 inch wide fries
1 tablespoon canola oil
½ teaspoon kosher salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
⅛ teaspoon garlic powder
⅛ teaspoon ground sweet paprika

Steps:

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Combine sweet potato fries and canola oil in a bowl and mix. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix until all fries are evenly coated.
  • Divide sweet potatoes into 2 or 3 batches for cooking. Place an even layer of sweet potatoes in the fry basket, insert in the air fryer, and cook until golden, about 10 minutes. Repeat with remaining sweet potatoes.

3 sweet potatoes (sliced into ¼"-thick fries (give or take))
3 tsp coconut oil (liquid)
½ tsp salt (or to taste)
2 Tbsp granulated sugar
½ tsp ground cinnamon
14.5- ounce can full fat coconut milk
1 Tbsp maple syrup (can sub honey)

Steps:

  • Toss the fries with the coconut oil and sprinkle with a little salt. Place the fries in the basket of your air fryer, in a single layer. Cook at 400 degrees F for 12 minutes, or until browned, crispy, and cooked all the way through. Transfer to a bowl and toss with the sugar and cinnamon, using more or less of both to suit your tastes and preferences. Serve right away with the coconut maple cream.
  • For the coconut maple cream
  • Place the can of coconut milk in the fridge for at least 2 hours, to chill the solids and allow them to concentrate in the bottom of the can. Open the can and carefully drain off the coconut liquid (I save this for smoothies). Transfer the solid coconut cream to a bowl and add the maple syrup. Whisk until smooth and creamy, adding a splash of water to thin, if needed. Serve with the fries.
