AIR FRYER KIELBASA (POLISH SAUSAGE)

Air fryer kielbasa cooks in just 5 minutes and makes an easy dinner or appetizer in a flash.

1 package of kielbasa (10 oz-12 oz)

Steps:

  • Preheat an air fryer for 3-4 minutes on 380F.
  • While your unit is heating, prep the sausage by cutting the rope into 1-1.5 inch pieces.
  • Add the Polish sausage to the basket, leaving room in between each section.
  • Air fry the kielbasa sausage for 4 mins on one side, shake the basket and continue cooking it for 3-4 more minutes until browned.
  • The kielbasa air fryer recipe is technically done when the internal temperature of the Polish sausage reaches 160F. If you like your kielbasa brown and crispy you can simply add a couple more minutes to the cooking time.
  • Serve the air fryer kielbasa sausage with mustard and toothpicks if you're serving them as an appetizer, or serve them as the main dish alongside your favorite side dishes.

Steps:

  • Preheat the air fryer, to 350 degrees F, for about 5 minutes, air fryer setting.
  • Then, place your kielbasa in the air fryer basket.
  • Set the time to 8 minutes, then use a pair of tongs or a fork, flip the kielbasa, and air fry for another 4 minutes.
  • Rest before serving.

10-14 ounces kielbasa coil

Steps:

  • Cut the kielbasa coil into 1/2 inch thick pieces. Be sure to peel the kielbasa first if necessary (if there is skin/casing on it that can't be consumed).
  • Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Once the air fryer is hot, add the kielbasa in one even layer. Make sure that there is a little space between the pieces so that they can brown evenly.
  • Cook the kielbasa for 8-10 minutes depending on your preferred level of crispiness. Flip the kielbasa halfway through for even cooking.
  • Once the kielbasa is done, remove the pieces from the air fryer. Be careful - the sausage pieces will be hot! You can enjoy them on their own or with crackers and cheese or a dip.
