AIR FRYER SWEET POTATO WEDGES
Steps:
- Give your sweet potato skins a clean. Peel and slice your sweet potatoes into wedges.
- Load your sweet potatoes into a bowl with your seasonings and extra virgin olive oil and use your hands to thoroughly mix them.
- Load the sweet potato wedges into the air fryer basket and cook for 15 minutes at 160c/320f.
- Shake the air fryer basket, check with a fork that your wedges are cooked and then cook for a further 5 minutes at 200c/400f.
- Serve and enjoy.

AIR FRYER SOUTHWESTERN SWEET POTATO WEDGES
Chili powder, garlic powder, salt, paprika, and oregano come together to season these Southwestern-inspired sweet potato wedges. Cooked in the air fryer, these wedges are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside and ready in 30 minutes, much less time than if cooked in the oven! Serve these up for a happy hour appetizer or alongside your favorite burger and refreshing beverage.

- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Cut sweet potato in half vertically, then cut each half into 4 wedges vertically. Toss sweet potato wedges, olive oil, salt, chili powder, garlic powder, paprika, oregano, and cayenne pepper together in a large bowl until sweet potato wedges are evenly coated in spices. Distribute wedges evenly in the basket of an air fryer. Cook in the air fryer for 12 minutes. Flip wedges and continue cooking until crispy and golden brown on the outside and fork tender on the inside, 10 to 12 minutes more.

It is actually the complete opposite, and they are so easy to make. I prefer them over making fries, and have included step-by-step photos of cutting the perfect wedge.

Steps:
- Place potatoes into a large pot and cover with salted water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until fork-tender, about 20 minutes. Drain. Place in a bowl and refrigerate until completely cool, about 30 minutes.
- Combine oil, paprika, black pepper, and salt in a mixing bowl. Cut cooled potatoes into quarters and toss into the mixture.
- Preheat an air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Add 1/2 the potato wedges to the air fryer basket, placing them skin-side down and being careful not to overcrowd.
- Cook until golden brown, 13 to 15 minutes. Repeat with remaining wedges.
