ALMOND MILK LATTE: HOT OR ICED
A smooth and creamy almond milk latte recipe you can make at home without any fuss! I'll give you all the tips you need to make both a hot and iced almond milk latte using equipment you already have at home! Plus, I've added 4 flavor combinations!

- Prepare your coffee using your favorite coffee beans, and coffee maker.
- Heat 1 cup of almond milk over the stovetop on low-medium heat. Whisk in maple syrup and vanilla extract if using. Heat until the milk begins to steam and thicken.
- Remove from heat. Pour milk into your blender. Secure the lid, and blend until the milk is foamy on the top.
- Pour the coffee into your mug.
- Pour the almond milk over top of the coffee, using a spoon, skim the froth off the top, and spoon onto the top of your latte. Enjoy!
- Prepare your coffee using your favorite coffee beans and using the coffee maker you have at home. Allow the coffee to cool and come to room temperature.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the almond milk with the maple syrup and vanilla extract.
- Fill a tall glass with ice all the way up to the top.
- Pour room temperature coffee 3/4 of the way to the top. Then pour the almond milk all the way to the top. Stir with a tall spoon to fully combine the milk and coffee.

A refreshing matcha oat milk latte which strikes a harmonious balance between deep matcha flavors, nice creaminess and a light, balanced natural sweetness.

- Measure out 2 tsp matcha powder and 1.5 oz of water at a temperature of 175F or 80°C.
- Add the water and matcha into a bowl and whisk it up using a bamboo whisk.
- Pour the matcha mixture into your cup. Use a spoon to get all the matcha out. Add 0.5 tsp of powdered brown sugar (or equivalent if using other preferred sweeteners). Mix well.
- Heat 8 oz of oat milk to a temperature of about 150F or 65°C Use an automatic frothing machine if you have one.
- Pour the milk over the matcha mixture and stir well.
- Enjoy the oat milk matcha latte hot or iced!

- If you have an espresso machine, use a light roast to brew two shots of espresso. If not, you can use a French press, Keurig, drip coffee maker, etc. The trick is to brew a strong yet small (about half a standard cup) coffee. Add sugar or sweetener as desired and place to the side.
- The next step is to warm your milk. Almond milk and dairy milk are similar to work with. The easiest way to heat it is with a steaming tool. Otherwise, you can do so on the stove. In a small saucepan, heat about 1 ½ cups of almond milk on medium heat. You don’t want to bring it to a boil. Instead, whisk consistently in a rapid motion until the milk is hot and slightly frothy. Remove from heat.
- Optional: Once removed from the heat, you can add a small portion of the milk to a separate bowl and continue to whisk to create a thicker foam. A latte should have one part coffee and three parts milk. Within the milk, the majority of it should be steamed with only a small portion on top being foam. Many people prefer to eliminate the frothed portion, however; especially if they are making their latte at home.
