APPLE BUTTER AND BACON STUFFED WAFFLES
Yes, bacon stuffed! This version of the family breakfast staple is loaded with flavor from Musselman's Apple Butter.

Steps:
- Step 1 Unroll the crescent dough onto a clean surface and press 2 of the triangles together to form a rectangle. Step 2 Spoon 1 tablespoon of apple butter onto the rectangle and spread across, leaving space around the edges. Sprinkle the bacon crumbles on top of the apple butter. Step 3 Fold the dough rectangle in half with the apple butter and bacon inside. Seal the edges with a fork. (This is important as if the apple butter leaks out it could burn on the iron). Repeat with the remaining ingredients. Step 4 Preheat your waffle iron. Step 5 Place 2 of the pastry pockets onto the waffle iron, one on each side. Press the iron closed and cook for 2-3 minutes or until the waffles are browned and cooked through. Remove to a wire rack until ready to serve. Step 6 Serve the waffles with maple syrup or additional apple butter on top.

Steps:
- Heat waffle maker; lightly brush with vegetable oil, if necessary. In medium bowl, stir Bisquick™ mix, milk, oil and egg until mixed well. Mix in shredded cheese, 1/2 cup of the crumbled bacon and the chopped apple.
- Pour 1/2 cup batter onto center of hot waffle maker. (Waffle makers vary in size; check manufacturer's directions for recommended amount of batter). Close lid of waffle maker. Bake according to manufacturer's directions or until steaming stops and waffle is golden brown; carefully remove waffle. Repeat with remaining batter.
- Top each waffle with heaping tablespoonful bacon; serve warm with maple syrup. Garnish with sliced green onions.
