Apple Delight Salad Recipes

APPLE DELIGHT

Steps:

• Divide apples among four ungreased 10-oz. microwave-safe bowls. Top each with 1 teaspoon of brown sugar. Sprinkle with cinnamon; top each with 1 teaspoon butter. , Cover and microwave on high for 7-1/2 minutes or until apples are tender. Cool slightly; drizzle with caramel topping if desired.

APPLE DELIGHT SALAD

Steps:

• Separate the frisée leaves and rinse them in cold water. Drain and pat dry. Wrap the leaves in kitchen towels and refrigerate until ready to use. Shortly before serving, halve and core the apples. Cut lengthwise into ¼-inch matchstick strips. Toss the strips with the lemon juice to prevent browning. Place the frisée in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper, then toss with the walnuts, ¼ cup of the chopped parsley and the blue cheese. Dress the greens lightly with the Apple Cider Vinaigrette (click for recipe) and divide evenly among 8 salad plates. Divide the apple strips atop the salads and sprinkle with the remaining tablespoon of chopped parsley. APPLE DELIGHT SALAD

Steps:

• Vinaigrette:Process ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth. Pour into a jar, cover and refrigerate.
• To serve: Shake vinaigrette to mix well. Toss with remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Divide among individual salad plates; serve immediately.

DELICIOUS APPLE SALAD

Steps:

• Combine the apples, undrained pineapple, raisins, pecans and sour cream. Mix well and add sugar to taste. Serve chilled.

APPLE DELIGHT

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350°F. Toss apples with 1/2 cup of the sugar until evenly coated; spoon evenly into greased 9-inch square baking pan.
• Combine flour and remaining 1/2 cup sugar in medium bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender or two knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in pecans. Sprinkle over apple mixture.
• Bake 1 hour or until apples are tender and topping is lightly browned.

CANDY APPLE DELIGHT

Steps:

• Combine Cool Whip and pineapple in large bowl.
• Peel, core and slice apples.
• Quarter slices.
• Cut candy bars into small cubes.
• Chop peanuts.
• Fold apples, candy and peanuts into Cool Whip mixture.

• Crush pineapple. Chop peanuts. Peel and slice apples. Cut up candy bars into small cubes. Add cool whip and combine. Serve immediately.

CINNAMON APPLE-NUT SALAD

Steps:

• In a large bowl, combine the apples, pecans, cranberries and onions. In a small bowl, whisk the remaining ingredients until blended. Pour over apple mixture; toss to coat. Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
