This takes a little more effort than the average cheeseburger, but is well worth it! Serve on buns with your favorite condiments.

1 pound sliced bacon, diced
5 pounds ground beef chuck
1 large onion, chopped
¼ cup steak sauce
salt and pepper to taste
1 pound American cheese slices

Steps:

  • Preheat a grill for high heat.
  • Place bacon in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry, stirring occasionally. When the bacon is almost done, add the onion. Cook until the bacon is crisp, and the onion is tender. Remove onion and bacon from the pan with a slotted spoon, and transfer to a food processor. Pulse a couple of times to chop finely. Do not puree. Pour into a large bowl, and mix with steak sauce and ground chuck using your hands. Form into 16 patties.
  • Place patties on the grill, and cook for 5 minutes per side, or until well done. Place a slice of cheese on top of each one during the last minute.

8 bacon strips, chopped
2 pounds ground beef
1/2 large red onion, chopped
12 ounces uncooked spiral pasta
4 cups chicken broth
2 cans (15 ounces each) crushed tomatoes
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1 cup water
1/4 cup ketchup
3 tablespoons prepared mustard
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1/3 cup chopped dill pickle
Optional: Chopped tomatoes, shredded lettuce, sliced pickles and sliced red onion

Steps:

  • In a 6-quart stockpot, cook bacon over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until crisp, 6-8 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon; drain on paper towels. Discard drippings. , In the same pot, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink, breaking into crumbles, 6-8 minutes; drain. Add the next 10 ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, until pasta is al dente, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes. , Stir in 1 cup cheese, pickle and bacon; cook and stir until cheese is melted. Serve with remaining cheese and, if desired, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles and red onions.

This amazing bacon cheeseburger pasta bake is made entirely in one pan, and with NO boiling required! The pasta cooks in the pan while it bakes!

3 cups water
15 oz can tomato sauce
1/3 cup chopped dill pickles (plus more for garnishing, if desired)
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp ground dry mustard
1 1/2 tsp packed light brown sugar
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 lb lean ground beef (I use 85/15 or 90/10)
3 cups dried, uncooked elbow macaroni pasta ((about 12 oz))
6 slices cooked and crumbled bacon
6-7 slices American cheese
1/3 cup yellow onion, finely diced ((optional))
minced fresh parsley, for garnish ((optional))

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 475 F degrees. Lightly spray a 9x13" casserole dish (or other oven safe 3 qt baking pan) with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
  • To a large mixing bowl, add water, tomato sauce, pickles, Worcestershire sauce, dry mustard, brown sugar, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Whisk to combine well.
  • Using your fingers (I like to wear gloves for this part), crumble beef into small 1/2" pieces and add them to the mixing bowl. Add in dried macaroni and stir to combine.
  • Pour mixture into prepared baking dish, cover tightly with aluminum foil, and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Remove dish from the oven, remove foil, and stir well (don't forget the bottom of the dish and the sides too!). Top pasta with American cheese slices and crumbled bacon.
  • Leave UNcovered and return to oven to bake another 5-7 minutes, until cheese is melted.
  • Let dish cool 5-10 minutes before serving. Top with finely minced onion, chopped pickles and/or fresh parsley if desired.

Who doesn't like bacon cheeseburgers? This is sooooo good and family friendly. PLUS, it's a whole meal in one pot! All 4 of my kids love it, as do me and my husband. It is kind of like "glorified hamburger helper" but you can tell it is from scratch! It's also quick and easy :) This recipe will serve 8, so you may want to half it for a smaller family...however, you probably will wish you hadn't because you will want leftovers!

1 lb uncooked pasta (rotini, rotelle, penne, small "or" medium shells, elbow) or 12 ounces egg noodles
2 lbs lean ground beef
1 lb bacon
1 small onions, chopped fine or 2 tablespoons minced dried onion
2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans condensed tomato soup
1 -2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
1/2 teaspoon pepper (or to taste)
8 ounces shredded extra-sharp cheddar cheese (I don't suggest using a milder cheese) or 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese (I don't suggest using a milder cheese)

Steps:

  • Cook pasta in salted water, drain, rinse and set aside.
  • Cook bacon in microwave or frying pan until crisp and set aside.
  • In a large skillet or deep fryer pan (I use a 12" diam. chicken fryer), brown ground beef and onion over medium heat.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper (I do this while my bacon is in the microwave and my pasta is cooking).
  • Drain any grease from beef.
  • Crumble bacon into beef and onion mixture.
  • Add tomato soup and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Add pasta and stir until coated and combined well.
  • Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top and cover.
  • Simmer for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  • Serve right out of the pan.
  • Enjoy!
  • (You may choose to 1/2 this recipe--we have a big family!).

½ onion (diced)
½ teaspoon seasoning salt
10 ¾ ounces condensed cheese soup
1 cup milk
3 cups sharp cheddar cheese (shredded & divided)
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
¼ cup BBQ sauce (+ 2 tablespoons, divided )
14 ounces petite diced tomatoes (drained)
1 teaspoon steak spice
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
2 tablespoons bacon bits

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 425°F.
  • Cook pasta al dente according to package directions.
  • Meanwhile, brown onion in the ground beef until tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in seasoned salt.
  • In a large bowl combine pasta, beef mixture, soup, milk, 2 cups cheese, mustard, Worcestershire, ¼ cup BBQ sauce, diced tomatoes, & steak spice.
  • Spread into a 9x13 casserole dish. Top with remaining cheese, sesame seeds, bacon bits, and drizzle with remaining BBQ sauce.
  • Bake 25-30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

1 tablespoon olive oil
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 onion, diced
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1 (28-ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
2 cups chicken broth
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 pound rotini pasta
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 Roma tomato, diced
2 green onions, sliced

Steps:

  • Heat olive oil in a large stockpot or Dutch oven over medium high heat. Add ground beef and onion and cook until beef has browned, about 3-5 minutes, making sure to crumble the beef as it cooks; season with salt and pepper, to taste. Drain excess fat. Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, chicken broth, ketchup, mustard, pasta and 2 cups water. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat and simmer until pasta is cooked through, about 13-16 minutes. Remove from heat and top with cheese. Cover until cheese has melted, about 2 minutes. Serve immediately, garnished with tomato and green onions, if desired.

1 lb 454 g extra-lean ground beef
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp 5 mL dried oregano
1/4 tsp 1 mL each salt and black pepper (optional)
1 can CAMPBELL'S® Condensed Cream of Bacon Soup
1/4 cup 60 mL milk
1 1/2 cups 375 mL shredded Cheddar cheese
5 cups 1.25 L rotini (spiral) pasta (12 oz/336 g)
2 cups 500 mL small broccoli flores
3 tbsp 45 mL each bacon bits and grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp 15 mL chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Steps:

  • Cook ground beef in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, breaking up with spoon, 6 minutes until beef is no longer pink. Reduce heat to medium.
  • Add garlic, oregano, salt and pepper, if using. Cook, stirring for 1 minute. Add soup, and milk; simmer, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes. Add Cheddar, stirring until melted.
  • Meanwhile, cook rotini according to package directions adding broccoli in last 2 minutes of cooking time; drain and return to pot. Add soup mixture, stirring to coat. Sprinkle with bacon bits, Parmesan and parsley, if using.
