Number Of Ingredients 7

1 cup uncooked white rice
1/2 cup uncooked brown rice
1 salt and pepper
6 chukar breasts
1 (1-ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix
1 (10 3/4-ounce) can cream of celery soup
2 soup cans water

Steps:

  • Put white and brown rice in bottom of a 2-quart casserole. Salt and pepper chukar and place on top of the rice. Sprinkle soup mix over chukar and rice. Cover contents of casserole with cream of celery soup mixed with water. Bake uncovered at 425° for 20 minutes. Then cover casserole and bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours more.

1 to 3 pound trout
1/4 cup melted butter or margarine
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon paprika
pinch pepper
dash garlic powder
2 teaspoons minced parsley
1 teaspoon celery seeds

Steps:

  • Clean trout, removing head and tail. Split trout up back, leaving skin intact. Place skin side down in greased Dutch oven or baking pan. Combine butter or margarine, salt, paprika, pepper, and garlic powder. Brush over fish. Sprinkle with minced parsley. Bake for 20-30 minutes depending on the size of the trout. If at home, bake at about 425°F, or using 4-5 briquets underneath the Dutch and 20-22 briquets on the lid. Baste often with sauce. Fish will be flaky and moist when done.
