Steps:
- Slice green onions, put in a pan on medium heat. Lightly spray with cooking spray as you start to sauté. Do this until the onions are almost clear in color (about 4-6 minutes). Add green peppers, celery, carrots, mushrooms and tomatoes. Season with Lipton spice only soup mix and add 12 cups of water (or 8 cups and the 48 oz of Low Sodium V8 juice). Cover and put heat on low. Let soup simmer for about 2 hours or until vegetables are tender If you would like a spicy soup, add a small amount of curry or cayenne pepper now.

- Boil fast for 10 min, then simmer and cook until veggies are tender.
- You can eat this soup anytime you are hungry; eat as much as you want, whenever you want, will not add calories.

MARMIE'S NO CABBAGE FAT BURNING SOUP
This is a very easy recipe that I have changed over the years, but originally it came from a hospital I worked at and was used to help overweight patients lose weight before surgery. I make it because my whole family loves it and it is so low in calories it is pretty much a free food when I am dieting. I do not care for cabbage in soup so this suits us just fine! I have made it in the crock pot as well with great success. There is a 'diet meal plan' that goes with the original recipe if anyone is interested.. This freezes wonderfully, so I put some of it in small personal sized containers and thaw as required for my hubby and my self for lunches. Servings are estimated, it makes a large pot full. I hope you like it!

Steps:
- Combine all ingredients in a large dutch oven except for soup mix and hot sauce --
- Bring to boil for 5 min,
- Reduce heat to simmer for 1 hour or use a slow cooker for about 7 hours.
- Add soup mix and hot sauce to taste.
- Simmer 10 more minutes.
- If you are not dieting some Parmesan or Mozza on top is lovely.

- Start by prepping your veggies! Chop the sweet peppers, onion, zucchini, mushrooms, garlic, parsley, cilantro, jalapenos, and slice the scallions.
- Heat the olive oil in a Dutch oven or another large pot over medium heat. Add the turkey, yellow pepper, green pepper, onion, zucchini, mushrooms, and garlic. Cook until the turkey is browned, stirring frequently. It will take approximately 20 minutes.
- Add the rest of the ingredients to the pot, aside from the scallions. Heat to a simmer, stirring occasionally. It will take about 15 minutes.
- Ladle the soup into bowls (or meal prep containers) and garnish with scallions. Wasn't that easy?
