Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, brown sugar, lemon juice, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, oregano, thyme, salt, and black pepper until thoroughly combined. Add the broccoli florets, and toss until evenly coated with the seasoning. Spread the broccoli florets out onto an baking sheet with a rim.
- Bake in the preheated oven until the broccoli is just browned on the top, 10 to 15 minutes.

- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
- Cut the broccoli florets into bite size pieces. Cut the stalk into 1/8-inch thick, round slices. Place the broccoli into a mixing bowl and toss with the olive oil, garlic, kosher salt and pepper and set aside.
- Spread the panko into a 13 by 9-inch metal cake pan and place into the oven for 2 minutes or until lightly toasted. Remove the panko from the oven and add to the bowl with the broccoli mixture. Toss to combine. Return the mixture to the cake pan, place in the oven and roast just until the broccoli is tender, 8 to 10 more minutes. Remove from the oven, toss in the cheese and serve immediately.
CRUSTY PASTA & BROCCOLI BAKE

- Boil the pasta, onion and broccoli stalks in plenty of lightly salted boiling water for about 7 mins, then add the florets and cook for another 3 mins. Reserve about 400ml of the water, then drain the pasta and vegetables.
- Return the reserved water to the pan and dissolve the stock cube, whisk in the mustard and crème fraîche, then season to taste. Bring to the boil. Stir in the drained pasta, vegetables and half the cheese, mixing until melted. Stir in the parsley.
- Heat the grill for 3 mins. Tip the pasta and vegetables into a shallow, ovenproof dish. Mix together the remaining cheese, breadcrumbs and herbs, then scatter on top.
- Stand the dish on the base of a grill pan and grill for about 3 mins, turning if it starts to brown. Keep watching so the top doesn't start to burn or the cheese will toughen. Remove and leave to stand for 5 mins before serving.

- In a large saucepan, saute onion in butter until tender. Stir in flour until blended. Gradually stir in milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. - Heat oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4. Put the broccoli in a casserole dish, add 1 tbsp water and roast in the oven for 10 mins while you make the sauce.
- Melt the butter in a small pan over a medium heat, add the flour and cook until it bubbles and thickens, take off the heat and whisk in a big splash of the milk. Return to the heat and slowly add the rest of the milk. Stir in the mustard and cheese and season well.
- Remove the broccoli from the oven, add the chunks of toast to the dish, mixing them up with the broccoli. Pour the cheese sauce over. - Preheat oven to 425 degrees, with rack in upper third. On a rimmed baking sheet, toss broccoli, 2 tablespoons oil, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Roast until broccoli is tender and lightly browned, 15 to 20 minutes, tossing halfway through.
