Buggy Snack Mix Recipes

BUGLE SNACK MIX

Steps:

• Put Bugels and nuts in grocery bag.
• In microwave, melt butter.
• Add brown sugar and corn syrup to butter and stir well.
• Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Remove and stir with wisk.
• Microwave for 2 more minutes.
• Remove , stir well and add vanilla and baking soda and stir again.
• Pour over Bugel mix in bag and shake well.
• Close bag and microwave for 1 1/2 minutes, remove and shake well again.
• Microwave for another 1 1/2 minutes.
• Remove, shake bag hard then spread contents onto foil to cool.
• When cool, break apart the rest of the way and store in a container.

GO-TO BUGLE SNACK MIX

Steps:

• Put Bugles and pecans in shallow roasting pan. (A disposable 9x13 pan is recommended.) Turn oven to 250 degrees. Put in oven while making sauce. In saucepan, put brown sugar, corn syrup, butter and salt. Stir constantly until boiling. Boil for 5 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and baking soda. Pour over Bugles and nuts. Stir to coat. Bake for 1 hour at 250 degrees stirring every 15 minutes. Cool and break apart as soon as it cools just enough to touch. Store in airtight container.

BBQ SNACK MIX

Steps:

• Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
• Combine crackers, pretzels, cereal squares, and peanuts in a large bowl. Slowly drizzle oil over cracker mixture and gently stir mixture with your hands until well coated, adding more oil, if necessary.
• Combine barbecue seasoning and paprika in a small bowl. Add to cracker mixture and toss gently until coated. Spread out on a baking sheet.
• Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring halfway through. Allow to fully cool before serving or storing.

RANCH SNACK MIX

Steps:

• In 2 large bowls, combine the pretzels, Bugles, cashews and crackers. Sprinkle with dressing mix; toss gently to combine. Drizzle with oil; toss until well coated. Store in airtight containers.

BROWNIE BUDDY SNACK MIX

Steps:

• Pour cereal squares into a large bowl.
• Combine chocolate chips and peanut butter in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth, about 1 1/2 minutes. Pour over cereal squares and stir until well coated.
• Place brownie mix in a container with a tight fitting lid, or in a large zip-top bag. Add 1/2 of the coated cereal in 2 batches and shake to coat. Spread on a sheet of waxed or parchment paper. Discard any leftover brownie mix.
• Let cereal sit until cool and dry, 30 to 45 minutes.
• Transfer cereal to a large bowl. Add pretzels and chocolate-coated candies and toss to combine.
