2 large dollops chilled whipped cream
6 ounces hot freshly brewed coffee

Steps:

  • In a coffee mug, drizzle in the chocolate syrup, white chocolate liqueur and 1 dollop of the whipped cream, then pour over the hot coffee. Carefully stir the mixture until well blended. Garnish with the other dollop of whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate syrup.

22 chocolate graham crackers, finely crushed (about 3 cups crumbs)
1/2 cup (1 stick) margarine or butter, melted
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 gal. (2 qt.) coffee ice cream, softened, divided
1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix graham crumbs, margarine and sugar. Reserve 1-1/2 cups of the crumb mixture; press remaining crumb mixture firmly onto bottom of 13x9-inch baking pan.
  • Bake 10 minutes. Remove from oven; cool completely.
  • Spread half of the ice cream over crust. Sprinkle with 1 cup of the reserved crumbs; press lightly into ice cream. Top with remaining ice cream; cover with whipped topping. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup crumbs. Freeze 4 to 6 hours or overnight until firm. Cut into 24 squares to serve. Store leftover squares in freezer.

9 1/2 ounces prepared coffee frappe beverage, drink chilled (I used one bottle of Starbucks Mocha Frappucchino)

  • If using ice, place ice in a tall glass.
  • Pour vodka into glass.
  • Pour Kahlua into the same glass.
  • Pour coffee drink into the same glass.
  • Drink.
  • Don't bother mixing the drink, pouring the liquids in will mix the drink for you (isn't that efficient?). Do you really want to wash another utensil? After a few of these, you might not even be able to find it anyway.

1 egg
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
½ cup finely chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • To make Pastry: Combine 1/2 cup butter, white sugar, vanilla and the egg in a double boiler over low heat. Stir until thick. Add the graham cracker crumbs, coconut and nuts and mix well. Pour into baking pan and let cool.
  • To prepare Filling: In medium-sized bowl, dissolve the instant coffee in the hot coffee. Mix in powdered sugar, cocoa, 1/4 cup of butter and milk. Spread filling over pastry and chill for 15 minutes.
  • To prepare Topping: Melt white chocolate in double boiler over low heat. Spread over filling and cut into squares. Store in refrigerator.

1 (3 ounce) package ladyfingers
1/4 cup sweet sherry
1 (3 ounce) package strawberry gelatin
2 cups hot water
3 egg yolks
1/3 cup sugar
2 cups light cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup sweetened whipped cream
1/2-1 cup pistachio nut, finely chopped

Steps:

  • Split ladyfingers and arrange on a cookie sheet. Drizzle the sherry over them and allow to stand.
  • Dissolve gelatin in hot water in a bowl and chill until syrupy.
  • Arrange half the ladyfingers in the bottom of a 6-cup crystal bowl. Pour gelatin syrup over and chill until the gelatin is firm.
  • Beat the egg yolks in a heavy saucepan until light. Add sugar gradually, beating all the while until mixture is light and lemon-colored.
  • Stir in cream and vanilla.
  • Cook, stirring constantly, over a very low heat or over simmering water, until the mixture coats a metal spoon. Pour sauce immediately into a chilled bowl and cover the surgace with transparent wrap.
  • Chill thoroughly.
  • Arrange remaining ladyfingers in the bowl on top of the set gelatin and pour the chilled custard over it. Chill until serving time.
  • Garnish with a puff of sweetened whipped cream and sprinkle chopped pitaschio nuts around the rim of the trifle.
