1/2 cup mayonnaise
One 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
1 cup grated sharp Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup grated Monterey Jack cheese
2 green onions, finely chopped
1 dash cayenne pepper
8 butter crackers, crushed, such as Ritz
Corn chips, crackers or bagel chips, for serving
8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

Steps:

  • DirectionsPreheat the oven to 350 degrees F.I
  • n a medium bowl, mix the mayonnaise, cream cheese, Cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, green onions and cayenne pepper. Transfer the mixture to a shallow baking dish, such as a 9-inch pie pan.
  • Top the mixture with the cracker crumbs and bake until heated through, about 15 minutes.
  • Remove the pan from the oven and top with the bacon. Serve immediately with corn chips, crackers or bagel chips.

I received this recipe from a friend at work. I love this recipe, because I usually have all of these ingredients on hand, and can fix it with very little notice.

1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
wheat thins crackers or cracker, of choice

Steps:

  • Mix first 4 ingredients together and bake at 350 F.
  • for 30 minutes.
  • Top"baked" dip with the bacon crumbs.
  • Serve with Wheat Thins or cracker of choice.

A lady who works with me brought this one day to one of our get togethers. It was the best dip I have ever tasted. I don't know where it originated from. I make it to take to work when we have finger-food day. People are always asking for the recipe.

1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (mild or sharp)
2 green onions, chopped
16 buttery crackers, such as Ritz, crumbled
bacon

Steps:

  • Mix first four ingredients together in a bowl.
  • Place in a greased quiche or small casserole dish.
  • Top with crumbled crackers.
  • Bake at 350°F for about 15 minutes.
  • Take out and sprinkle with crumbled bacon.
  • (I usually make this with the reduced fat cream cheese and cheddar cheese, it still tastes great. I also like to use the real bacon bits that are sold in the bag. You can find them where the salad toppings are. This is much easier and less greasy than fried).
