- Preheat oven to 350°. In a small bowl, combine the flour, pecans and brown sugar. Stir in butter until crumbly. Lightly pat into an ungreased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. Bake until golden brown, 18-20 minutes. Cool completely., For filling, in a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, confectioners' sugar and vanilla until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. Carefully spread filling over crust. Top with pie filling. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

CREAM CHEESE DELIGHT
This recipe came from one of my clients, when I dropped over on a chilly Winter morning, and I smelled it throughout her lovely home. YUM!

Steps:
- Grease 9x13 pan.
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Spread one can of crescent dough on bottom of pan.
- Mix softened cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar and vanilla until smooth, and spread on top of crescent dough.
- Spread 2nd can of dough on top of cheese mixture. Be careful not to leave too many gaps in dough.
- Pour melted butter all over crescent dough.
- Mix 1/2 cup sugar with 1 teaspoons of cinnamon. Sprinkle on top of butter. Use all of it--it looks like a lot, but it's just right.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Allow to cool before cutting.
- Serve with coffee, milk or ice cream!

NANA'S BLUE CHEESE DELIGHTS
This simple appetizer recipe has only 3 ingredients and is always a hit. I learned to make this from my Grandma who I called Nana. Whenever the family would get together we'd have a cocktail hour before dinner and she always served these great appetizers. Sometimes we wouldn't even wait for her to remove them from the pan and just take them out with toothpicks.

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Place the butter into a 9x13 pan (I prefer to use a glass pan) and let it melt in the oven. Be sure to remove before it browns.
- Cut biscuits into six or eight triangles, depending on the size biscuit you buy (kitchen shears work really well for this).
- Sprinkle melted butter with blue cheese crumbles.
- Arrange biscuit pieces over the cheese in a single layer.
- Bake for 12-14 minutes or as directed depending on brand until golden brown.
- Serve with toothpicks.

- In large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar with electric mixer on medium speed until fluffy. Add egg yolk and vanilla; beat on low speed until blended.
- Unroll 1 can of dough into 1 large rectangle; press seams and perforations to seal. Press onto bottom of ungreased 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish. Spread with cream cheese mixture.
- In small bowl, mix pecans, brown sugar, butter and cinnamon. Sprinkle half the pecan mixture over the cream cheese layer. On lightly floured surface, press or roll out remaining dough into 13x9-inch rectangle. Place over filling. Sprinkle remaining pecan mixture over top.
- Bake at 375 degrees F 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool slightly on cooling rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cover and refrigerate leftovers.

- Separate eggs.
- Add egg yolks, sour cream, grated cheese, flour, salt, and paprika. Mix well.
