14 oz pizza dough, 1 can
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
3 tablespoons butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1 cup shredded parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400˚F (200˚C).
  • Stretch pizza dough out into a rectangle.
  • Cut into 8 equal-sized strips.
  • Stretch strips lengthwise, and widthwise.
  • Place mozzarella down the middle of each strip.
  • Fold and pinch the dough around the cheese along the entire strip, ensuring to close off the ends.
  • Form a pretzel shape by taking the ends of the strip, making a "U" shape, twisting the ends around each other twice and connecting the ends to the bottom of the "U" shape.
  • Transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Mix melted butter, garlic, and parsley and pour onto pretzels.
  • Sprinkle parmesan evenly on top of the pretzels.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Enjoy!

14 oz store-bought pizza dough, 1 tube
4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
15 pieces presliced pepperoni
marinara sauce, or pizza sauce for dipping
nonstick vegetable oil cooking spray

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Unroll the dough, it should form 15x9-inch (38x22 cm) rectangle, then cut the rectangle horizontally into three equal strips. (These will be your three pretzels.)
  • Carefully stretch each of the strips by width and length - stretch each to about 3 inch (7 ½ cm) width and about 34 inch (86 cm) length.
  • Sprinkle 1 cup (100g) of cheese down the center of each dough strip. Reserve the last 1 cup (100g) of cheese for later.
  • Fold the dough over the cheese, pressing to seal and rolling slightly to create 3 dough logs filled with cheese.
  • Cover a baking sheet with foil and spray with vegetable oil.
  • To form the pretzels, take one dough log, move it to the foil covered baking sheet, then form a circle with the ends of the log at the top of the circle. Twist the log ends around each other once and bring them down to meet the bottom of the circle. Repeat with the other two dough logs.
  • Wrap pepperonis on the pretzels - 5-ish per pretzel - then sprinkle the remaining cup of cheese among the three pretzels.
  • Bake 14-18 minutes until deep golden brown.
  • Serve immediately with pizza sauce for dipping.
  • Enjoy!

¾ cup warm water
1 ½ teaspoons sugar
1 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast
2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 ½ teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
8 oz cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons shredded parmesan cheese
¼ cup fresh chives, chopped
¼ teaspoon freshly cracked pepper
2 tablespoons pizza sauce
2 sticks mozzarella cheese, halved, lengthwise
2 tablespoons mini pepperoni
2 strips bacon, cooked and chopped
2 tablespoons shredded cheddar cheese
1 egg, beaten
coarse salt, for sprinkling
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the water and sugar. Add the yeast and let rest for 5 minutes, until it starts to foam.
  • Add the flour, salt, and 1 tablespoon of oil, and mix thoroughly until the dough comes together.
  • Remove the dough, grease the bowl with the remaining tablespoon of olive oil, then return the dough to the bowl and cover with a dish towel or plastic wrap. Let sit in a warm place for 1 hour, until the dough has doubled in size.
  • Preheat the oven to 400˚F (200˚C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Using your fingers or a rolling pin, stretch or roll the dough out into a long, thin strip, about 30 inches (76 cm) long and 4 inches (10 cm) wide.
  • Spread the softened cream cheese down the middle of the dough strip, leaving a 1-inch (2 cm) border on each end.
  • Sprinkle the Parmesan, chives, and black pepper over the first third of the cream cheese on the dough strip.
  • Spread the pizza sauce over the middle third of cream cheese. Place the mozzarella and pepperoni over the sauce.
  • Sprinkle the bacon and cheddar cheese over the cream cheese on the last third of the dough strip.
  • Fold and pinch the dough around the cheese fillings along the entire strip, ensuring the ends are closed. Roll slightly to seal and lengthen.
  • Carefully form a pretzel shape by taking the ends of the strip, making a "U" shape, twisting the ends around each other, and connecting the ends to the bottom of the "U" shape.
  • Transfer the pretzel to the prepared baking sheet and brush with egg wash. Sprinkle with coarse salt.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Cool for 10 minutes, then brush with melted butter before serving.

Here's what you need: shredded cheddar cheese, corn starch, beer, pizza dough, water, baking soda, egg, coarse salt

3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons corn starch
½ cup beer, Plus 2 additional Tbsp.
1 lb pizza dough
5 cups water
¼ cup baking soda
1 egg
coarse salt, to taste

Steps:

  • Slice a small piece of your pizza dough, roll it into a ball then flatten it out.
  • Toss the cheddar cheese with the corn starch until it's evenly distributed.
  • In a medium saucepan, bring ½ cup (120 ml) of beer to a simmer.
  • Add in the cheese and corn starch mixture and whisk until it begins to thicken. Once thick, take off the heat.
  • NOTE: It may cool and become more solid over time, but don't worry! It will melt back down in the oven, so this is fine.
  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Place a small spoonful of the beer cheese mixture in the center of the dough.
  • Pick up the top and bottom edges and bring them up and together. Do the same with the left and right edges. Continue bringing in the rest of the edges of the dough until it all meets in the center and there are no gaps for the cheese to leak out of during baking.
  • NOTE: You can pick up and twist the top of the dough to make sure everything is more secure.
  • Bring five cups of water to a boil in a medium pot. When you've finished putting together your pretzel bites, add the baking soda to the water and immediately scoop in your pretzel bites. Boil for 20-30 seconds,
  • Take out and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, combine one egg and two tablespoons of beer and beat with a fork until they are well blended.
  • Brush the mixture onto the top of each pretzel bite, then top with coarse salt.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes (or until they have browned).
  • Enjoy!
