- Spray slow cooker with cooking spray (this is optional, but I like to do it.)
- Put frozen potatoes in a slow cooker.
- In a bowl combine sour cream, cream of chicken soup and garlic salt and stir to combine. Pour mixture on top of the potatoes.
- Add cheese to the slow cooker and stir everything together.
- Turn slow cooker on high and cook for 4 hours, then serve and enjoy

These are very similar to funeral potatoes, but made easier in the crock pot. The amounts don't have to be exact, these are just a good starting point. I have also added diced ham to make this a main course.

- Put a thin layer of soup mix on bottom of crackpot.

- Cover the slow cooker and cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 6-7 hours. Stir the potatoes once during cooking if possible.
- During the last 30 minutes of cooking, add the remaining cup of cheese in an even layer to the top of the potatoes. Cover and let the cheese melt during the last 30 minutes of the cooking time.
- You can keep these potatoes on the “warm” setting on your crock pot if serving at a party or holiday.
