CHEESY PIZZA HOT DOGS

Steps:

• Preheat the oven to 450˚ F. Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray. Divide the pizza dough into 6 equal pieces. Roll each piece of dough into a long, thin rope about four times the length of a hot dog.
• Slice each piece of string cheese in half lengthwise. Slice each hot dog lengthwise, making sure not to cut all the way through. Place 1 piece of cheese in each sliced hot dog.
• Wind a rope of pizza dough around a hot dog from one end to the other. Repeat with the remaining hot dogs and pizza dough.
• Place the wrapped hot dogs on the prepared pan. Bake until the dough is golden brown, 15 to 18 minutes.

CHILI CHEESE DOG BAKE RECIPE BY TASTY

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 375˚F (190˚C).
• Spread chili into a greased 11x7-inch (28 x 18 cm) glass baking dish.
• Unroll the dough and cut into four even strips.
• Cut the cheese sticks in half lengthwise.
• Place a hot dog in the center of a piece of dough. Place each half of the cheese stick on either side of the hot dog.
• Wrap the dough around the cheese and hot dog, overlapping slightly in the center. Repeat with remaining dough, hot dogs, and cheese.
• Place the wrapped hot dogs on top of the chili.
• Bake 15-20 minutes, until the dough is light golden.
• Add the butter to a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high until melted. Stir in the garlic powder and parsley.
• Brush over the wrapped hot dogs.

BROOKLYN'S CHEESIEST DOG

Steps:

• In a medium-sized saucepan, over medium heat, saute the lardons of bacon until brown and crispy. Remove the bacon from the pan and drain on paper towels. Discard the bacon fat. Put the olive oil into the same pan. Wash the chopped leeks thoroughly to remove any grit, and then drain. Put them into the pan with the olive oil and saute until soft and wilted. Remove the leeks from the pan and set aside.
• Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in the same pan and then sprinkle with the flour, stirring to incorporate. Cook the roux over medium heat for a few minutes. Whisk the warm milk into the roux and cook until it thickens. Fold in the grated Gruyere and grated Parmigiano and season with salt and pepper, to taste. Add a pinch of cayenne and a pinch of nutmeg. Set the sauce aside.
• Bring a large pot of salted water to boil over medium heat for the pasta.
• In a small fry pan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter and add the panko. Stir constantly until the crumbs are lightly toasted. Set aside.
• Preheat the grill to medium.
• Once the water is boiling, add the pasta and cook until al dente. Drain and gently fold the cooked pasta into the cheese sauce and keep warm. Fold in the bacon and the leeks.
• Melt the remaining tablespoon of butter and brush it on the cut sides of the buns. Grill the hot dogs over the hottest part of the barbecue until they are brown, and toast the buns around the perimeter where the fire is cooler, until you have light golden grill marks. Put 1 hot dog into each bun and generously slather with the hot sauce. Top each hot dog with a generous portion of the pasta and cheese sauce. Sprinkle with the toasted panko and chopped parsley and serve.

Steps:

• Heat oven to 375°F.
• Unroll dough; separate into 8 triangles. Spread 1 Tbsp. sauce onto each dough triangle. Wrap around cheese dogs. Place, seam-sides down, on baking sheet.
• Bake 12 to 15 min. or until golden brown. Meanwhile, heat remaining pizza sauce.
• Serve cheese dogs with sauce.

PIZZA HOT DOGS

Steps:

• Split hot dogs and hot dog buns lengthwise.
• Place buns on a cookie sheet.
• Place mozzarela cheese over buns.
• Place split hot dog on each bun.
• Spread pizza sauce over the hotdogs.
• Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and broil until cheese bubbles and the hot dogs are hot.

CHEESY HOT DOG-TOPPED PIZZA

Steps:

• Heat oven to 400ºF.
• Place pizza crust on baking sheet. Mix pizza sauce, ketchup and mustard; spread onto crust.
• Top with franks and cheese.
• Bake 10 to 15 min. or until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted.

CHEESY CAMPING HOT DOGS RECIPE BY TASTY

Steps:

• Insert a skewer into a hot dog. Cut a spiral by holding your knife at a diagonal to the top of the hot dog and rolling it down along a cutting board until you reach the bottom.
• Wind a strip of cheese into the spiral groove on the hot dog. You may need 2 strips of cheese to fill the entire spiral.
• Lay a strip of pizza dough on a cutting board and place the end of the hot dog skewer on a diagonal. Gently roll the hot dog in the dough, ensuring that the dough overlaps so no cheese leaks through. Gently remove the skewer and loosely wrap the hot dog in a sheet of foil so the dough has room to expand as it cooks. Repeat with the remaining hot dogs and dough.
• Place the hot dogs over low heat on a campfire or grill. Let them cook for 10 minutes, check to see that the dough has puffed, then flip over to cook through, about 10 minutes more.
• Let the hot dogs cool for a few minutes before carefully unwrapping, then serve with ketchup, mustard, relish, and onion.
