- 1. Preheat oven to 400°F. 2. In a medium sauce pan over medium high heat, cook bacon until crisp. Drain bacon and remove and place on a paper towel to drain. Leave bacon drippings in the pan. 3. Meanwhile evenly lay pierogies in a baking dish. 4. Add butter and flour. Whisk to combine. Cook for about 3 minutes to cook out the flour-y taste. Add chicken broth, half & half, garlic, onion, Italian seasoning, cayenne, and pepper. Whisk until combined. Add Italian cheese and about half of Parmesan cheese. Stir to combine. Add frozen peas and chicken. Stir to combine. Bring to a bubble, about 3 minutes. 5. Pour chicken and cheese mixture over pierogies. Sprinkle remaining parmesan cheese over top. 6. Bake for 15 minutes until top is bubbly and golden brown. 7. Remove from oven sprinkle with bacon and parsley. Serve and enjoy!

- Preheat oven to 350ºF.
- Butter a 2 qt casserole dish.
- Place pierogies in bottom of dish.
- In a large bowl, combine soup, milk, mushrooms, peas and chicken.
- Pour over pierogies.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until heated through.
- Note: I have used unthawed pierogies and just added 15 additional minutes to the baking time.

- Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove to paper towels; drain, reserving 2 tablespoons drippings. , In the drippings, saute onions until tender. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Add mushrooms; cook until tender. Stir in sauerkraut and half of the bacon. In a large bowl, combine the soup, milk, celery seed and pepper. Drain pasta., Place a fourth of the pasta in two greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dishes. Layer each with a fourth of the sauerkraut and soup mixture. Repeat layers. , Cover and bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Uncover; sprinkle with remaining bacon. Bake 10-15 minutes longer or until heated through. Let stand for 5-10 minutes before serving.

I'm can't remember where I found this recipe but we've been making it for a few years. DH & kids woof it down like candy and there are never any leftovers!

Steps:
- season chicken with salt & pepper to taste then cook chicken breasts in pan, cube & set aside.
- saute diced onion in the butter in chicken pan.
- cook spinach (I microwave it.) until thawed.
- cook pierogies according to package.
- mix chicken, onions, spinach & soup together in same pan as before.
- spray large (9x13) casserole dish with oil.
- layer pierogies, chicken mixture, & cheese in casserole dish.
- top w/ cheese.
- Bake in 350 degree oven for about 20 minutes & until cheese is melted.
- Serve.

- Preheat oven to 400°F. Arrange the pierogies in a lightly greased 9 x 9-inch baking dish. In a medium skillet cook the bacon until crisp. Removed to a paper towel lined plate. Add garlic to the drippings in the pan and cook for 30 seconds. Add cream cheese to pan and cook until cream cheese begins to melt stirring frequently. Gradually whisk in chicken broth until smooth. Season sauce with salt and pepper to taste. Pour the cream cheese mixture evenly over the pierogies. Bake for 15 minutes or until bubbly and heated did through. Remove from oven and top with cheese bake for an additional five minutes or until cheese is melted. Top with cooked bacon, green onions and tomato before serving .
