Chili Cheese Dog Pizza Recipes

CHILI DOG PIZZA

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 425°. Unroll and press dough into bottom of a greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan. Bake until edges are lightly browned, 5-7 minutes., Spread with mustard; top with chili, hot dogs and cheese. Bake until crust is golden and cheese is melted, 10-15 minutes. If desired, sprinkle with onion and relish.

CHILI CHEESE DOGS

Steps:

• For the chili: Heat the oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the onion and cook, stirring frequently, until soft and translucent, about 8 minutes. Add the beef and garlic and cook, stirring and breaking up into smaller pieces with a wooden spoon, until the meat is brown and cooked through, about 5 minutes. Add the chili powder, cayenne, cumin, 1/2 teaspoon salt and a few grinds of pepper and cook, stirring, until well combined, about 1 minute.
• Add the tomatoes, tomato paste and 1/2 cup water to the pot. Stir well and bring to a boil. Lower the heat to medium-low and simmer, uncovered and stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened, about 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and keep warm.
• For the chili dogs: Preheat a grill or large grill pan to medium. Grill the hot dogs according to the package directions until grill marks appear and the hot dogs are warmed through, about 5 minutes. Working in batches, if necessary, grill the cut side of the buns until golden and toasted, about 1 minute. Build the hot dogs and top each with about 1/4 cup of chili spooned down the length of the hot dog. Sprinkle each with some cheese and serve with ketchup and mustard.

CHILI CHEESE DOG PIZZA

Steps:

• For Chili:
• In large frying pan, brown ground beef chopping up well as you go along. Drain grease if necessary.
• Add rest of Chili Dog Chili ingredients and stir in well. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to Low, and simmer, stirring as needed, until very thick according to preference. (I took mine ALL the way down cooking out all of the water and it took about, max, 25 minutes.) Remove from heat and set aside.
• To Assemble:
• Press a pound of pizza dough onto a lightly greased pizza pan sprinkled with a little cornmeal, leaving the outer edge higher and rounded to hold in the ingredients. Top evenly with chili, sliced hot dogs, and shredded cheese. (*I placed 3 sliced hotdogs under the cheese, and placed the last sliced one on top).
• To Bake:
• Pop into preheated 425º F oven and bake for 20 - 22 minutes until crust is light golden brown.
• Remove from oven, top with any additional toppings desired, slice like a pie into triangles (or into small squares), and serve!

CHILI CHEESE DOG BAKE RECIPE BY TASTY

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 375˚F (190˚C).
• Spread chili into a greased 11x7-inch (28 x 18 cm) glass baking dish.
• Unroll the dough and cut into four even strips.
• Cut the cheese sticks in half lengthwise.
• Place a hot dog in the center of a piece of dough. Place each half of the cheese stick on either side of the hot dog.
• Wrap the dough around the cheese and hot dog, overlapping slightly in the center. Repeat with remaining dough, hot dogs, and cheese.
• Place the wrapped hot dogs on top of the chili.
• Bake 15-20 minutes, until the dough is light golden.
• Add the butter to a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high until melted. Stir in the garlic powder and parsley.
• Brush over the wrapped hot dogs.
• Enjoy!

CHILI CHEESE CONEY DOGS

Steps:

• Cook Hot Dogs. You could grill them, you could pan fry them , you could even boil them if you wanted.
• Heat chili sauce.You could heat it on the side burner of your grill if you have one, you could heat it on the stove, you could even heat it in the microwave if you wanted.
• Place 1 Hot Dog on 1 hot dog bun.
• Spoon warmed chili sauce onto hot dog.
• Sprinkle with onions.
• Tops with cheese sauce.

CHILI DOG PIZZA

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
• Mix together Bisquick mix and water.
• Stir until a soft ball forms.
• Roll or pat dough into a 12 inch circle on an ungreased cookie sheet or pizza pan.
• Pinch the edge of the circle to form a crust.
• Spread the chili over crust, and then add cheese, and top with hot dog slices.
• Bake in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
