CHOCOLATE DIRT PUDDING POTS RECIPE

Steps:

• In medium bowl, whisk 1/2 cup sugar, cocoa, cornstarch, and salt. Place in large saucepan and whisk in milk until combined. Heat over medium heat until scalding, stirring occasionally.
• In medium bowl, whisk eggs with remaining tablespoon sugar. Whisk about 1 cup hot milk mixture into eggs then whisk eggs and milk back into remaining milk in pot. Heat, whisking constantly until mixture just comes to boil. Remove from heat and whisk in chocolate, butter, and vanilla until smooth. Transfer pudding to large bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and chill until set, about 4 hours.
• While pudding is chilling, process cookies in food processor until finely ground. Reserve 3/4 cup crumbs and set aside.
• When ready to assemble, start by spooning about 1/3 cup pudding mixture into each glass. Divide unreserved cookie crumbs amongst glasses, and then top with remaining pudding. Top each glass with reserved crumbs. Garnish by placing small sprigs of herbs into top of each glass.

DIRT PUDDING

Steps:

• Whisk French vanilla pudding mix with milk in a large bowl until softly set, about 2 minutes. Pudding will thicken as it stands. Cream confectioners' sugar, cream cheese, and butter in a separate bowl until smooth and creamy. Stir cream cheese mixture into pudding until thoroughly combined; gently fold frozen whipped topping into the mixture.
• Place half the cookie crumbs into the bottom of an 9x12-inch dish; retain remaining crumbs for topping. Spread the filling over the layer of cookie crumbs and top with remaining crumbs, covering completely. Chill for at least 30 minutes.

HOMEMADE CHOCOLATE PUDDING

Steps:

• In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt. Gradually add milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat; boil and stir for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat; stir in butter and vanilla. Spoon into individual serving dishes. Chill until serving. If desired, garnish with whipped cream and M&M's.

FUN & EASY CHOCOLATE DIRT CAKE

Steps:

• Take one large clean terracotta potting pot and clean with soap and water.
• Make one package chocolate pudding as directed on box.
• In electric food processor add Oreo cookies. Blend until smooth and looks like dirt.
• Take softened cream cheese and powdered sugar and mix/cream in bowl. You can use a hand mixer or a kitchen aide to make it easier.
• Carefully fold Cool Whip into cream cheese sugar mixture.
• Take half the pudding and add to the bottom of pot.
• Sprinkle 1/3 the gummy worms and bugs on top of pudding.
• Add half of cream cheese and powdered sugar on top of pudding/gummies.
• Sprinkle 1/3 of Oreo mixture onto the cream cheese mixture.
• Add other half of pudding.
• Add other 1/3 of gummy worms and gummy bugs.
• Add the rest of cream cheese and powdered sugar mix.
• Add rest of Oreo crumbs on top.
• Garnish with plastic flowers and gummy frogs, worms and bugs on top.

DIRT DESSERT

Steps:

• In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, butter and confectioners' sugar until smooth. In a large bowl, whisk milk and pudding mixes for 2 minutes; let stand for 2 minutes or until soft-set. Gradually stir into cream cheese mixture. Fold in whipped topping. , Spread 1-1/3 cups crushed cookies into an ungreased 13x9-in. dish. Layer with half the pudding mixture and half the remaining cookies. Repeat layers. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. Serve with shaved white chocolate if desired.
