Chocolate Peanut Butter Chex Mix Recipes

DARK CHOCOLATE & PEANUT BUTTER CHEX PARTY MIX

Steps:

• In a pan over medium low heat, melt the butter and chocolate chips while stirring.
• Once the chocolate is melted and smooth, remove from the heat and stir in the peanut butter.
• Pour the cereal into a large mixing bowl. Slowly pour in the chocolate mixture and stir until well coated.
• Pour the cereal mixture into a large Ziploc bag. Add the cake mix powder and peanut butter chips, seal the bag, and shake until coated.

PEANUT BUTTER-CHOCOLATE CLUSTERS

Steps:

• Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Combine the chocolate chips, peanut butter chips and shortening in a large heatproof bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water (do not let the bowl touch the water). Stir until melted and smooth, 2 to 4 minutes. Remove the bowl from the pan and add the cereal and peanuts. Stir with a rubber spatula until evenly coated.
• Spoon the cereal mixture into clusters (about 2 tablespoons each) onto the prepared baking sheet; sprinkle with nonpareils. Refrigerate until firm, about 30 minutes.

Steps:

• Line 2 cookie sheets with foil or waxed paper. Place 3 cups cereal in large bowl. In small microwavable bowl, microwave white vanilla baking chips uncovered on High about 1 minute or until chips can be stirred smooth. Pour melted chips over cereal in bowl; stir to evenly coat. Spread mixture in single layer on one of the cookie sheets. Refrigerate 5 minutes or until set.
• Repeat the above using the remaining cereal and the peanut butter chips; refrigerate 5 minutes or until set.
• Gently break up coated cereal into large bowl. Add candy and peanuts; stir gently to combine. Store in airtight container.

NO BAKE PEANUT BUTTER CHEX BARS RECIPE

Steps:

• Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan. Mix the cereal and peanuts in a large bowl.
• In a medium saucepan stir together the brown sugar and corn syrup over medium heat. Bring the mixture to a boil for 1 minute. Then remove from heat and stir in the peanut butter, vanilla, and salt. Stir until the mixture is smooth.
• Pour the peanut butter mixture over the cereal mixture. Toss carefully with a wooden spoon until all of the cereal is covered.
• Transfer the mixture into the prepared 9 x 13 inch pan and press down gently. Cool for about 20 minutes.
• Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave stirring every 20 seconds until completely melted and smooth. Drizzle over the cooled bars. Let the chocolate cool.
• Cut into bars and enjoy!

BUCKEYE CHEX MIX

Steps:

• Line cookie sheet with waxed paper. In large microwavable bowl, mix cereal and hazelnuts.
• In 2-cup microwavable measuring cup, microwave peanut butter, brown sugar and butter uncovered on High 1 minute; stir. Microwave 30 seconds to 1 minute longer or until mixture is boiling; stir. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated.
• Microwave uncovered on High 3 minutes, stirring and scraping bowl every minute. Spread on cookie sheet; refrigerate 5 minutes to cool. Stir in peanut butter candies. Store in airtight container.

PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE SNACK MIX RECIPE BY TASTY

Steps:

• In a medium bowl, mix together the chocolate and peanut butter. Melt in microwave for 60 seconds, stirring every 15 seconds, until smooth.
• Place the rice cereal in large bowl. Pour the melted chocolate over the cereal and stir to coat.
• In a large plastic bag, add the powdered sugar and cereal. Seal the bag and shake until the cereal is well coated.
• Add the peanut butter chocolate candy and shake to incorporate.
