Chocolate Quivers Or Chocolate Finger Jello Recipes

CHOCOLATE FINGERS

Steps:

• Prepare the cake mix according to manufacturers directions. Pour the batter into a greased 9 by 12-inch cake pan and bake according to package instructions. Remove the cake from the oven and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
• With an electric mixer in a large bowl, beat the butter on medium speed for 5 minutes, then add the sugar, chocolate and vanilla extract. Continue to mix for 2 to 3 minutes, stopping during the mixing to scrape down the sides of the bowl. Remove the cake from the oven and apply the chocolate mixture to the top of the cake with a spatula. It should be 1/2 to 3/4-inch thick. Return the cake to the refrigerator and allow the topping to set. Remove the cake from the pan with spatula and cut into 3 by 1-inch fingers with a sharp knife. Arrange on a serving tray and dust with powdered sugar.

FINGER JELLO

Steps:

• Spray 9x13" pan with pam.
• Dissolve unflavoured gelatin in 1 cup cold water and set aside.
• In saucepan, bring 1 cup water to boil.
• Add jello and sugar.
• Bring to a boil and remove from heat.
• Add gelatin mixture and stir.
• Add 1/2 cup cold water and let set.
• When it is set, you can easily cut it into squares.

CHOCOLATE-CHERRY GELATIN DESSERT

Steps:

• Add boiling water to gelatin mixes in large bowl; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved.
• Microwave 6 oz. chocolate and evaporated milk in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 3 min. or until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring after 1-1/2 min. Add to gelatin; beat with mixer until blended.
• Pour into 8-cup mold sprayed with cooking spray. Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm. Meanwhile, melt remaining chocolate as directed on package. Dip cherries in chocolate; place on waxed paper-covered baking sheet. Refrigerate until ready to use.
• Unmold dessert onto plate. Serve topped with COOL WHIP and cherries.

EASY CHOCOLATE TRIFLE

Steps:

• Prepare cake batter and bake in 13x9-inch pan as directed on package. Cool completely.
• Beat pudding mixes and milk in medium bowl with whisk 2 min.
• Cut cake into 1/2-inch cubes. Layer half each of the cake, pudding, COOL WHIP and chopped chocolate in trifle bowl. Repeat layers.

CHOCOLATE QUIVERS

Steps:

• In a bowl, dissolve gelatin in 1 cup milk. n a small saucepan over medium-high heat, combine drink mix, sugar and remaining milk; bring to a boil, stirring until chocolate and sugar are dissolved. Add to gelatin mixture and mix well. Pour into a 8-in. square pan. Cool at room temperature for 30 minutes. Cover and refrigerate until firm, about 5 hours. (do not freeze). Cut with a knife or cookie cutter.

JELLO AND COOL WHIP EASY CHOCOLATE TRIFLE

Steps:

• Pour 2 1/2 cups milk into large bowl.
• Add 2 pkgs jello instant chocolate pudding.
• Beat with whire whisk until well blended.
• Mix in 1 tub cool whip topping, thawed.
• Layer brownie cubes, pudding and cool whip mixture, raspberries or strawberries and additional cool whip in large glass bowl as desired.
• Refrigerate 1 hour or until ready to serve.
• Makes 16 servings.

NESQUIK™ QUIVERS

Steps:

• COMBINE milk, Nestle Nesquik, sugar and gelatin in small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring frequently. Pour into 8-inch-square baking dish. Cool to room temperature; cover with plastic wrap.
• REFRIGERATE for 3 hours or until firm. Cut out shapes using cookie cutters.
