CHOCOLATE TOFFEE MUFFINS
Chocolate-covered toffee candy is the indulgent surprise topping--and inside crunch--for these chocolate muffins.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 400°F. Grease bottoms only of 12 regular-size muffin cups (2 1/2x1 1/4 inch), 24 mini cups (1 3/4x1 inch) or 4 jumbo cups (3 1/2x1 3/4 inch), or line with paper baking cups.
- In large bowl, beat milk, oil and egg with spoon. Stir in remaining ingredients except candy just until flour is moistened. Reserve 1/4 cup candy; fold remaining candy into batter. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups. Sprinkle reserved candy over batter.
- Bake regular-size muffins 18 to 20 minutes, mini 10 to 17 minutes or jumbo 25 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Immediately remove from pan to wire rack. Serve warm or cool.

DOUBLE CHOCOLATE-TOFFEE COOKIES
These have become my favorite cookie to share with family and friends. Everyone I've baked these cookies for says the same thing, "These are the best cookies I've ever had!"

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Cream together butter, white sugar, and brown sugar. Mix in eggs and vanilla. Mix in sifted dry ingredients, then stir in white chocolate chips, toffee bits, and chopped pecans.
- Drop tablespoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake in the preheated oven until edges are golden, about 10 minutes. Cool on the baking sheet for briefly before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Repeat Steps 4 and 5 to bake remaining batches.

- In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and baking soda. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in milk just until moistened. Fold in chocolate chips and toffee bits. , Drop by 2 tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Brush with melted butter; sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 425° for 13-15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm., Freeze option: Freeze cooled biscuits in resealable plastic freezer bags. To use, heat in a preheated 350° oven 15-20 minutes.

- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa and baking soda. Whisk the water, oil, vinegar and vanilla until smooth. Gradually add to dry ingredients just until combined. Stir in toffee bits. , Fill paper-lined muffin cups two-thirds full. Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks to cool completely. , For frosting, combine confectioners' sugar and cocoa; set aside. In a large bowl, beat butter and 1/2 cup cocoa mixture until smooth. Add milk, vanilla and remaining cocoa mixture; beat until desired spreading consistency is reached. Stir in 1/2 cup toffee bits. , Frost cupcakes. Cover and refrigerate until serving. Top with remaining toffee bits before serving.
