ONE-POT CHUCKWAGON CHOW
Try serving this mild chili-like dish with tortilla chips or flour tortillas, suggests Dorothy Cowan of Ferndale, California. She adds, "Since this cooks up in a single pot, it's perfect for camping, too."

CHUCK WAGON SANDWICH
These are great! They are kind of like a pork tenderloin sandwich, but made with a beef patty instead of pork. You can use precooked breaded beef patties or precooked breaded chicken-fried steak patties in this as well. Look for them in the freezer section (heat and eat).

CHUCKWAGON CARROTS
The addition of crisp bacon to the carrots gives a nice lightly smoked favor. It has been a favorite with my family for many years. It originated in the "Treasury of Country Recipes" published by Land O Lakes about 15 years ago. Even people who don't normally eat carrots love this dish! You can easily double the recipe for a potluck dish. If you want to decrease the fat, just substitute light margarine and turkey bacon.

Steps:
- Arrange pork chops without overlapping on a large sheet of aluminum foil. Add salt and pepper to taste. Stir flour into barbecue sauce; spoon over pork chops. Arrange onion slices over top. Toss together potatoes, oil and chili powder; arrange in an even layer over onion slices. Seal foil package tightly. Place on grill; cover and cook over medium-high heat for 25 to 30 minutes. Open carefully, allowing hot steam to escape. Tip: Hosting a backyard gathering? Fill a child's little red wagon with ice and tuck in bottles of soda and lemonade. Use colorful ribbon to tie a bottle opener to the handle so it stays near the drinks.

SPICY CHUCK WAGON SOUP (TASTE OF HOME)
This soup is hearty and delicious! The meat just falls apart, and the spicy component is a nice change from traditional beef stews. Even a friend of ours who is a self-proclaimed soup hater liked this! We found this recipe in a Taste of Home Heartwarming Soups magazine. We make this a little ahead of time and let it sit on low for about an hour before eating it so the beef can get a little extra tender!
