With its sweet banana-almond flavor and chunky texture, this appealing banana peanut butter "ice cream" is a crowd-pleaser. 5 medium bananas, peeled and frozen
1/3 cup almond milk
2 tablespoons unsweetened finely shredded coconut
2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
3 tablespoons raisins

Steps:

  • Place the bananas, milk, coconut, peanut butter and vanilla in a food processor; cover and process until blended., Transfer to a freezer container; stir in walnuts and raisins. Freeze for 2-4 hours before serving.

1 can (14 ounces) fat-free sweetened condensed milk
1 envelope whipped topping mix (Dream Whip)
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 medium firm bananas, cut into 1-inch pieces
1/2 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, beat the first six ingredients on high speed for 3 minutes. Cover and refrigerate overnight., Stir bananas into milk mixture. Fill cylinder of ice cream freezer; freeze according to the manufacturer's directions. Stir in chocolate chips. Allow to ripen in ice cream freezer or firm up in the refrigerator freezer for 2-4 hours before serving.

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup granulated sugar
1 1/3 cups heavy cream, chilled
2/3 cup cold milk

I have tried this with aspartame sugar substitute (the blue packets) to lower the sugar, and no one could tell! For best results, transfer frozen mixture to a plastic freezer container and freeze for at least one hour before serving (if you can keep your kids out of it for that long!).
