CINNAMON PEACH SYRUP



Cinnamon Peach Syrup image

This homemade peach syrup can be enjoyed atop pancake, waffles, ice cream, and more! It's so easy to make and is a great way to use up fresh peaches.

1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup water
2 small or 1 large peach, chopped
Juice of 1 lemon
1 Tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract, optional
Pinch salt

Steps:

  • Place all of the ingredients into a sauce pan. Bring to a simmer and cook until syrupy, between 20-30 minutes.
  • Serve warm on top of pancakes, waffles, ice cream, etc.
