1 package Frozen Rhodes Cinnamon Rolls (about 12 rolls, cut into pieces)
4 large eggs
3/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon nutmeg
1 ½ teaspoon vanilla
Cream Cheese frosting from cinnamon roll package

Steps:

  • Grease a 9x13 pan.
  • Cut up the rolls into small pieces and lay in the pan.
  • In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk and spices.
  • Pour over rolls making sure they are all well coated.
  • Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight, at least 6-8 hours. Rolls will thaw and rise.
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Bake the French toast for 35-40 minutes or until the rolls are well browned on top. If the rolls are getting too brown before being cooked all the way, cover with foil and continue baking.
  • Remove from oven and frost with the cream cheese frosting from the cinnamon roll package Drizzle maple syrup if desired.

2 cans Pillsbury refrigerated cinnamon rolls ((12.4 ounces each))
2/3 cup heavy cream
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup maple syrup

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350º Fahrenheit. Spray a 9x13 baking pan with cooking spray.
  • Open the cinnamon roll tubes and set aside the frosting. You'll use this to drizzle over the baked casserole.
  • Cut each cinnamon roll into 4 pieces.
  • Place the cinnamon roll quarters evenly in the baking pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the cream, eggs and cinnamon. Make sure the eggs are well mixed.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the cinnamon rolls.
  • Drizzle the syrup over the top.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes until the top is golden brown and puffy.
  • Heat the frosting for 5-10 seconds in the microwave, then drizzle over the warm casserole.
  • Serve immediately.

2 Cans Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls
3 eggs
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp butter (melted)
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375˚F.
  • Chop each cinnamon roll into 6 pieces. Place all of the pieces in a 2 qt casserole dish. Set aside the icing container.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the eggs, cream, butter, syrup, vanilla and whisk until combined.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the cinnamon rolls and shake the dish slightly so that it settles evenly.
  • Bake for 30-40 minutes or until the casserole is done all the way through.
  • Remove from oven and let sit for 10 minutes. Then drizzle the icing over the top and serve warm. Enjoy!

This gooey, refrigerated cinnamon roll dish layered with homemade spiced apples is good for breakfast, brunch, or dessert.

3 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled and diced
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup maple syrup, divided
3 teaspoons ground cinnamon, divided
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
½ cup milk
2 large eggs
2 (17.5 ounce) cans refrigerated cinnamon roll dough with icing

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Place diced apples in a large skillet over medium heat with brown sugar, 1/2 cup maple syrup, 2 teaspoons cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix together and simmer until apples are tender, 10 to 15 minutes. Drain apples and set aside.
  • Meanwhile, whisk milk, eggs, and remaining 1 teaspoon cinnamon together in a bowl.
  • Open 1 tube cinnamon rolls; set icing aside. Cut each cinnamon roll into 6 pieces. Place all pieces into the milk mixture and mix around until fully covered. Remove from the milk mixture and press into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  • Evenly place spiced apples on top of the cinnamon roll layer. Open remaining tube of cinnamon rolls and repeat step 4 (cutting and coating cinnamon rolls), then press on top of the apples to form a top layer. Drizzle remaining 1/4 cup maple syrup over top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until the top is golden brown and puffy, 30 to 35 minutes.
  • Heat 2 icing packets in the microwave for 5 to 10 seconds; drizzle over the casserole. Serve immediately.

6 eggs
½ cup heavy cream
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans
½ cup maple syrup

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Pour melted butter into a 9x13-inch heat-resistant glass container (such as Pyrex®). Cut each cinnamon roll into 8 pieces and spread in the dish.
  • Beat eggs using a whisk in a large bowl. Beat in heavy cream, cinnamon, and vanilla extract until combined. Pour over cinnamon rolls. Sprinkle with pecans and maple syrup.

3 12.4-ounce tubes refrigerated cinnamon roll dough (with frosting)
4 large eggs
1/2 c. half-and-half
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. kosher salt
1/3 c. packed dark brown sugar
1/3 c. pecans. chopped
1/3 c. sour cream

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350˚. Generously butter a 9-by-13-inch baking dish. Cut each round of cinnamon roll dough into 4 pieces. Reserve the frosting packets.
  • Whisk together the eggs, half-and-half, cinnamon and salt in a large bowl. Add the cinnamon roll dough and toss lightly to coat. Pour into the baking dish.
  • Mix the brown sugar and pecans in a small bowl. Sprinkle on top of the casserole and bake until puffed, golden brown and cooked through, about 35 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, whisk together the contents of the frosting packets and the sour cream in a medium bowl until smooth. Let the casserole cool for 10 minutes, then drizzle with the frosting.
