  1. condensed cream of mushroom soup
  2. milk
  3. soy sauce
  4. black pepper
  5. frozen green beans
  6. french-fried onions


  1. preheat oven to 350 degrees f
  2. lightly spray 1 1 / 2 qt casserole
  3. mix soup , milk , soy sauce , and pepper in casserole
  4. stir in beans and half the onions
  5. bake uncovered for 25 minutes until bubbling
  6. stir well
  7. top with remaining onions , bake 5 minutes more and serve
  8. ---variations---
  9. corn and bean amandine: prepare as above substituting 1 can condensed golden corn soup for mushroom
  10. after baking 25 minutes , mix in 1 / 4 cup toasted slivered almonds
  11. proceed as directed
  12. broccoli bake: prepare as directed , substituting 1 can condensed cream of broccoli soup for mushroom and 1 package frozen broccoli cuts or 4 cups cooked and drained broccoli florets for beans
