Coffee Chipotle Pork Chops Recipe

  1. kosher salt
  2. brown sugar
  3. black pepper
  4. coffee beans
  5. paprika
  6. dried chipotle powder
  7. granulated garlic
  8. ground cinnamon
  9. ground cumin
  10. ground allspice
  11. pork chops
  12. vegetable oil


  1. mix together the salt through allspice
  2. coat each pork chop with the rub , covering both sides generously
  3. reserve any leftover rub for a future use
  4. place the pork chops in a plastic food storage bag and refrigerate for 8 hours
  5. to cook the pork chops , remove them from the refrigerator and allow to come to room temperature , about 30 minutes
  6. preheat the oven to 350 degrees f
  7. in a large ovenproof skillet , heat the vegetable oil over medium-low heat
  8. add the pork chops , and cook on each side for 5 minutes
  9. place the skillet in the oven and cook the pork chops for 15 minutes , uncovered , or until a meat thermometer reads 145 degrees f
  10. allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving
