ICED HAZELNUT COFFEE COOLERS



Iced Hazelnut Coffee Coolers image

Serving coffee shop coffee coolers at home is easy. Here's the secret.

2/3 cup instant coffee (dry)
1 1/2 cups hazelnut-flavored nondairy liquid creamer
1 cup water
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
8 cups milk
Whipped cream, if desired
Ground cinnamon, if desired

Steps:

  • In medium bowl, mix coffee, creamer, water and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, stirring until coffee is dissolved.
  • Pour into 2 ice-cube trays. Freeze at least 3 hours or until hardened. Transfer cubes to plastic storage container or bag.
  • For each serving, place 2 coffee cubes, 2/3 cup milk and 4 water ice cubes in blender. Cover and blend on high speed about 20 seconds or until blended and slightly slushy. Pour into glass. Top with dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle of cinnamon.

6 cup prepared coffee
2 tablespoon superfine or regular granulated sugar
0.25 teaspoon ground Mexican or regular cinnamon
0.125 teaspoon ground ancho chile pepper or cayenne pepper
Chocolate-flavor syrup
0.75 cup coffee liqueur, such as Kahlua
6 tablespoon tequila, rum, or brandy
1 Coffee Whipped Cream
12 chocolate-covered coffee beans
0.5 cup whipping cream
1 teaspoon sugar
0.25 teaspoon instant espresso coffee powder

Steps:

  • Pour coffee into a 2-qt. insulated bottle to keep hot.
  • In a shallow dish stir together sugar, cinnamon, and ground ancho pepper. Wet rims of glass coffee mugs or brandy snifters with water and dip into sugar mixture to coat.
  • For each cocktail, squeeze a little chocolate syrup in a design in bottom of a rimmed mug or glass. Add 2 Tbsp. liqueur and 1 Tbsp. tequila. Add coffee, filling mug or glass three-fourths full. Top with Coffee Whipped Cream and coffee beans. Coffee Whipped Cream
  • In a medium mixing bowl combine whipping cream, sugar and instant espresso coffee powder. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed until soft peaks form.

  • Place all ingredients, cooled coffee, almond milk, sweetener, vanilla frozen yogurt and ice into a blender.
  • Mix until smooth.
  • Transfer to two serving cups.
