- In a large skillet, brown sausage in butter; remove with a slotted spoon and keep warm. , In the drippings, saute the onion, peppers and celery until tender. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until rice is tender. Return the sausage to the pan; cook and stir until heated through.

- Preheat oven to 350°. Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook beef, green pepper and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in next 8 ingredients. Drain spaghetti; add to beef mixture. , Transfer to a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Cover and bake 30 minutes. Uncover; sprinkle with cheese. Bake until cheese is melted, about 5 minutes longer.

- Bring water to boil in medium saucepan. Stir in Rice Mix; return to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 25 minutes or until rice is tender. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes.
- Spoon rice mixture into large bowl. Cool to room temperature. Fluff with fork.
- Mix bell pepper, onion, oil, vinegar and black pepper in medium bowl. Add to rice mixture; mix well. Sprinkle with pecans. Serve immediately. Or, cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. (Do not add pecans until ready to serve).

EASY WEEKNIGHT RICE AND SAUSAGE SKILLET

- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir sausage in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Add onion and celery; cook until vegetables have softened, about 5 minutes. Remove from the pan; set aside and keep warm.
- Brown rice and vermicelli mix in the sausage drippings, adding butter if needed. Slowly add water and seasoning package; bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer until rice is tender, 15 to 20 minutes. Just before rice is finished, add sausage-vegetable mixture. Stir well and let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
