COOKIES AND CREAM FOOTBALL DIP

Steps:
- Crush 12 Oreos and set aside.
- Remove the filling from the remaining 4 Oreos and crush.
- Mix butter, cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Set 3 tablespoons of the mixture aside (in a small baggie)
- Stir in the 12 crushed Oreos.
- Once mixed, shape into a football shape on a piece of wax paper.
- Spray hands with Pam and shape into a football shape.
- Mix cocoa powder with crumbs of the 4 Oreos (without the filling)
- Cover the football shape with the cocoa powder mixture.
- Snip end off of baggie and use frosting to draw football laces on top of the football shape.
- Serve with pretzels or Nilla Wafers.
- Refrigerate.
FABULOUS FOOTBALL DIP
Always a crowd pleaser and so easy to make. This recipe can be as hot or as mild as you like, depending on which kind of tomatoes you buy. I got this recipe from a friend. Serve with tortilla chips.

- In a large skillet, cook sausage over a medium heat until it is browned and cooked through.
- Mix tomatoes and cream cheese into the skillet. Stir and continue cooking the mixture over a medium heat until the cheese has melted.

Steps:
- Use pulsing action of food processor to process cookies until finely chopped. Remove 1/2 cup crumbs; reserve for later use.
- Add cream cheese, butter and vanilla to remaining cookie crumbs in food processor; pulse until blended. Spoon into airtight container. Refrigerate 45 min. or until firm.
- Melt white chocolate as directed on package; cool slightly. Meanwhile, shape cream cheese mixture into oval on plate to resemble football; press reserved cookie crumbs into cream cheese mixture until evenly covered with crumbs.
- Spoon melted chocolate into resealable plastic bag. Cut small piece off one bottom corner of bag; use to make laces for the football as shown in photo.
- Refrigerate 2 hours. Serve with vanilla wafers and strawberries.

- In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and butter for 3 minutes. Add powdered sugar and beat an additional 2 minutes, scraping down the sides of the bowl as necessary. Remove a spoonful (about 2-3 Tbsp) and place in a small ziploc bag. Seal and set aside.
- To the bowl of cream cheese, add chocolate syrup and crushed Oreo cookies. Blend completely.
- Line a large bowl with plastic wrap. Drop the cream cheese mixture into the plastic wrap lined bowl. Fold up the plastic around the cheese ball. Refrigerate for about an hour.
- Remove plastic wrap and shape cheese ball into a football on a serving plate. Press chocolate chips into top and sides until completely covered. Using your reserved baggie of cream cheese mixture, snip off the corner and pipe "laces" onto your cheese ball.
