1 cup coffee (cold)
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons vanilla syrup
1 tablespoon hazelnut syrup
2 cups ice
2 tablespoons whipped cream

Steps:

  • Place the coffee, milk, vanilla syrup, hazelnut syrup, and ice in a blender. Start with the liquids first. Add the ice in last and blend! Not too much though - you want the coolatta icy, not creamy.
  • Pour the coffee coolatta into your favorite glass and top with whipped cream. Enjoy!

  • Toss everything except whipped cream in your blender, starting with the liquids first. Add in the ice and blend. Don't over blend - the key to the coolatta is to make it icy and not creamy. Pour into a glass and top with whipped cream. Enjoy!

Man, when did Dunkin get so good at making these coffee drinks? This copycat Coolatta uses a bit of almond extract with chilled coffee to blend up a refreshing pick-me-up.

3/4 cup brewed coffee, chilled
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons sugar
chocolate syrup, as desired
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
1 1/2 cup ice cubes

Steps:

  • Combine all the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth and creamy. Pour into a tall glass and serve immediately. You can make this a low carb treat by using heavy cream in place of the milk, Splenda in place of the sugar, and sugar-free chocolate syrup.
