Smooth, minty, and with its signature green color, this copycat Shamrock Shake will have you feeling extra lucky!

Number Of Ingredients 10

5 cups vanilla ice cream
2 cups milk
1/2 teaspoon mint extract ((not peppermint extract))
6-9 drops green food coloring ((see note))
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
Green sanding sugar
Green sprinkles
3 Maraschino cherries

Steps:

  • Add heavy cream and vanilla to a mixing bowl. Beat until frothy. Add powdered sugar and continue to beat until stiff peaks form. Set whipped cream aside (in the fridge if possible) while you make the milkshakes.
  • Add ice cream, milk, mint extract, and food coloring to a blender. Cover and blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  • Pour shamrock shakes into milkshake glasses. Top each shake with whipped cream, sprinkles, and a cherry. Serve immediately.

4 cups vanilla ice cream
1 cup whole milk
½ teaspoon pure peppermint extract
¼ teaspoon green food coloring
whipped cream (for topping)
green sprinkles (for topping)

Steps:

  • Place ice cream, milk, peppermint extract and green food coloring in a blender. Cover and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and top with whipped cream and sprinkles. Serve immediately.
