Creamy Parmesan Corn Casserole Recipe

Time: 45 minutes



  1. frozen corn kernels
  2. half-and-half
  3. butter
  4. flour
  5. sugar
  6. salt
  7. black pepper
  8. parmesan cheese


  1. place corn and half and half in a large saucepan and bring to a boil
  2. meantime , in another saucepan , melt butter , stir in flour and let cook for about 2 minutes to make a roux
  3. add salt and pepper
  4. when corn comes to a boil , stir in butter / flour roux
  5. stir gently to combine and allow to bubble slightly
  6. pour into a greased 2 quart casserole and sprinkle parmesan cheese over top
  7. bake at 350 for 30 to 35 minutes
