CROCK POT BUFFALO TURKEY MEATBALLS
Perfect for game day or an easy weeknight dinner, buffalo turkey meatballs pack all of the flavor of classic buffalo wings and none of the mess!

- 1. Make the meatballs. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, grated onion, egg, garlic, oregano, basil, salt and pepper. 2. Using clean hands or a wooden spoon (I prefer to get in there and use my hands!) mix until ingredients are combined, but be careful not to over mix. 3. Roll the ground turkey mixture into 1 inch or tablespoon sized meatballs. Your mixture should yield about 20-24 meatballs. 4. Brown the meatballs. Add olive oil to a large skillet or deep Dutch oven and heat over medium high heat. Working in batches, brown the meatballs, about 1 to 2 minutes per side (it takes me usually about 2-3 batches to brown all of the meatballs.) 5. Transfer your browned meatballs to you slow cooker as you finish each batch. The meatballs will not be (and should not be) cooked all the way through after searing them in the pan. 6. Add buffalo wing sauce to slow cooker and slowly toss with meatballs to combine. 7. Cover slow cooker and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours. (The meatballs should be cooked through after 2 hours but can stay in the slow cooker on low for up to 3 hours.) After three hours, change slow cooker setting to warm so meatballs don't overcook. 8. Serve with blue cheese or ranch dressing drizzled over top or on the side for dipping and a dash of chopped green onions, if desired.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350*.
- Combine the first six ingredients in a large bowl, mixing completely.
- Form mixture into 2 inch balls.
- Place meatballs on a roasting pan sprayed with Pam.
- Bake 25 minutes, turning in the last five minutes and basting with buffalo wing sauce.
- Serve with celery sticks, wing sauce and blue cheese dressing.

- In a medium bowl, combine all of the ingredients except the buffalo sauce. Mix with your hands until well combined. Form the mixture into 18 1.5" meatballs.
- Spray a large non-stick skillet and place on medium-high heat. Add the meatballs to the heated pan and cook for 2-3 minutes. Gently turn the meatballs over and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Meanwhile, add just enough of the buffalo sauce to coat the bottom of the Crock Pot. Add the browned meatballs to the pot (they will still be mostly raw). Top with the remaining buffalo sauce and place the lid on the top.
