SPICY CAJUN SLOW COOKER BUFFALO WINGS
These slow cooked buffalo wings have a Cajun kick to them. The wings are simmered in a spicy bbq sauce along with hot sauces like Tabasco and jalapeno sauce. The Cajun seasoning adds extra heat and flavor.

Steps:
- Combine the cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, Cajun seasoning, and onion flakes in a small bowl. Combine the barbecue sauce, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, jalapeno sauce, and Tabasco in a bowl. Mix until blended. Season the chicken wings with the spice mixture and place in the crock pot. Sprinkle any remaining spice mixture over the wings. Pour the barbecue sauce mixture over the wings and stir gently to coat them in the sauce. Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 4-6 hours or until the wings are cooked through. Serve the wings with additional barbecue sauce for dipping, if desired.

Steps:
- Combine 1 bottle hot pepper sauce, 1/2 cup butter, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, onion powder, and garlic powder in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Place chicken wings into slow cooker and pour sauce mixture over wings.
- Cook on High for 2 hours. Reduce heat to Low; cook 2 hours more.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease several baking sheets.
- Spread wings onto prepared baking sheets and bake in preheated oven until wings are crisp and browned, about 30 minutes.
- Melt 1/2 cup butter with 1 bottle hot sauce in a small saucepan and simmer until thickened, about 20 minutes. Brush sauce onto wings just before serving.

CROCK POT BUFFALO WINGS

Steps:
- Mix all ingredients except the chicken in a sauce pan and bring to a simmer. (I use Franks Buffalo Sauce but you can use any Hot Sauce or Buffalo Sauce.).
- Place chicken in crock pot and pour heated sauce over the top. Cook on low or high. (Just depends on how fast you want to eat them.).
- When chicken is cooked through, scoop (with a slotted spoon) onto a cookie sheet.
- Broil on hi for 10-15 minutes (my husband likes these best when I sprinkle a dry rub over the wings before placing them in the oven. It helps hold the sauce in place and makes a slightly crispy coat). Just use any dry meat rub.Cajun, Jerk, Garlic etc. and add your own special touch!
